Facade of environmental values
So I often hit up the drive-through of a certain ubiquitous coffee shop on my drive to work out of Halifax, and a few months ago, invested in one of their eco-friendly travel mugs. I was hoping to do my part as I buy coffee pretty much every day. However, I recently figured out that they simply fill a brand new cup with the coffee I request, transfer it into my travel mug, and then throw out the paper one! After observing this several times, I felt the need to tell others—demand that you are not toting your mugs around in vain! "Saving the world one cup at a time"—perhaps you should stick to what you preach. —Disgusted with Thrown Out Cups
