Hello new and older students at our lovely universities. You move to Halifax from your parents' homes to gain your independence or that is what most people think. What a lot of you actually do is drink, dance, party, scream, shout, kick green bins, swing on trees, and a multitude of others things. You don't realize the neighbour you live in is inhibited by sane, hard working, respectful humans who actually work for a living and need sleep. Your disrespect, immature behaviour is going to come back to haunt you. You party till 3 or 4 in the morning and then sleep till noon. Statistics are saying that you will not amount to much anyway so why not just pack your bags and go back home to wherever it is that you developed these horrible behaviours. After 4 years of partying instead of taking your lives seriously, you will be looking for a job. I hear Tim's is hiring and so are other fast food chains. I know a lot of University students who have degrees and masters and can't get a job. So have fun now partying and being disrespectful. You know what they say "Past behaviours are indicators of future behaviours". Oh, I went to School and University and yes, went out with my friends and partied a little, but I was always aware of others. My marks were amazing and my job is one of the best and I provide for my kids in a way you will never know. So, keep up the partying, the drinking and everything else. It will come back to bite you. —Your Neighbour
