I get so tired of people bitching about rent hikes! I am a landlord who has to pay utilities and taxes on my property. If they go up, I have to download costs to my tenants. I know there are unethical landlords, but there are a lot of good ones as well. I suppose we could let all the beautiful Victorian houses fall down around us  so you can pay a low rent, but I and many others are glad they are being saved. If this causes your rent to go up, maybe you could move to a cheaper, less convenient part of town. I think the main bitching should go to the government who doesn't build enough low-cost housing! ‘Nuff said. —Not the enemy!
