A driving lesson for Alertans
To the asshole who almost knocked me off my bike with your car with Alberta licence plates near the citadel today: What the fuck were you thinking! It sucks enough to have to bike home in the rain, why do I also have to deal with insane Albertans on the road in Halifax? You seemed angry that I pounded my fist on the hood of your car, but here is a Halifax driving lesson for all you Albertans: it is illegal to come within 1 m of a cyclist, you came within a couple inches. I'm just trying to do my part towards sustainable transport, why don't you go back to work in the tar sands, keep on raping the earth and leave us Maritimers alone! —Winter Cyclist
