500 operations cancelled
Compare the furor and hatred directed towards nurses who went on strike leading to the cancellation of 100 surgeries. There were daily updates through the media, the CEO going on news shows. And of that 100, several were cancelled in areas where nurses had said they would not go on strike, but they cancelled them anyway. Well, we are now close to 500 procedures cancelled due to poor planning and poor crisis response from the higher ups, and nobody seems to be as upset.
