Halifax, I Love You But You're Bringing Me Down
Why is it so hard to find work in this city, and why is the cost of living so high? It is WAY TOO EXPENSIVE for being a small city with so little to offer. I'm a born and bred Nova Scotian, I've lived here my whole life, but I feel trapped. I can't move without a nest egg, but cost of living is so high that I can't live and save up at the same time. Not to mention the horrible winters that wreak havoc on my depression and limit my mobility.
I wish I could make a life for myself here in Halifax, but the city seems more interested in catering to rich Ontarians who come here to study than taking care of its own. —at least it's not Cape Breton
