Listen, I get it. Along with your $0.75, you accidentally threw in a washer, or a foreign coin, or a piece of pocket lint instead of that Canadian quarter you meant to use to pay your bridge fare. And backing up to throw in another quarter was clearly beyond you. Fine. But when I throw in the change to cover your trip, the least, the absolute least you could do is acknowledge me with a wave or a thumbs-up before speeding away.
