If you have the right of way, TAKE IT

To the lady driving the silver car out of the Ashburn golf club on Wednesday May 4 at about 7:30PM. I'm the cyclist on the Chain of Lakes trail that you stopped for. I didn't go, we both got annoyed, and I called out to you that you had the right of way, but I guess you didn't hear me. I finally rode up to your car, smiling and waving in an attempt to not seem threatening, and tried to talk to you, but you weren't having it. So, on the outside chance that you might see this, I want to explain to you what happened there.
See, I had a yield sign, and you had no sign. That means I stop and you go. I get that you were trying to be nice, and I appreciate it. But when some drivers yield the right of way to vehicles that don't legally have it, that leads to confusion which leads to accidents. So, on behalf of all responsible cyclists, please, just follow the rules. —Cyclist in Yellow
