The downtown bars are closing. It's 3am on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday. You're walking home with your friends—perhaps to the townhouses halfway down Duncan Street. The street looks dark and deserted, as if you're the only ones here—but inside all of those houses are your neighbours. We can hear your voices and everything you're saying. Why?
