In part, CHAPTER 293 OF THE REVISED STATUTES of The Motor Vehicle Act, s. 122, (5) "... no driver shall enter an intersection or a marked crosswalk...without obstructing the passage of...pedestrians."

In layman's terms, stay the fuck out of it until we cross.

There now. Isn't that easy? —Dodging moving steel ain't fun

Halifax Transit just got $14 million to update their software system? what happened to the previous $43 million for technology? There are still times when the 'stop request' sign doesn't display, and the drivers have the nerve to say. "but I see it on my dial, I know to stop". No fucking good if you're at the back of the bus and you don't know if he is going to stop. How are they going to fix the 'driver backdoor' problem? Most drivers just don't give a fuck. They want a loud 'thank you' when you get off the bus, but seem unable to bring the bus to a stop, at the bus stop sign, like 20 feet away. Is it a power game they play, just to irritate passengers that don't treat them like demi-gods. Something is deeply wrong in Halifax Transit, I bet they're playing politics with our taxes and time. It's time for us to get a third party company to take our complaints about the crappy service we get. who awarded the contract for those cheesy plastic seats on the new buses? Don't set anything down on one of them, these seats are more slipper than Halifax Transit management. I'm waiting for someone to be thrown from a seat, when a bus has to slam on the brakes. I'll be a witness. —Fuck the environment, I need to get a car

I hate to say this but the city's decision makers need to work harder to improve the quality of life for its people. Why is it losing smart individuals to other places? Simply because higher powers are looking for short term let's make rich folks happy type of solution.

Look into the laws, educate business owners small or large, involve thinkers young and old, open a space to listen not just campaigning to keep sucking the blood out of the political career ladder. Support local businesses and allow and support them to expand in order to make more and hire more. this town is filled with smart people, take advantage of that before they are gone to other provs. —WTF

Ever try to get a job in Hellifax? Impossible because they hire all their relatives. Ever try to get something settled in court in this city? Impossible because it never gets completed because the greedy lawyers in this town won't settle because they lose their cash cow flow.

Ever try to talk to the politicians, human rights, Barr society in this city about the BS a person has to go through to get anything done here? Impossible they don't respond! Ever try to find a Dr in this town? No because they don't want to live here! Does anyone actually work in this town? Is there really anyone at the number they tell you to call? Hellifax get with the program! I don't bother wasting my time voting anymore because nobody calls you back or responds to your emails.

Time to fire the whole works of you and hire people that will call back and get the job done. How do you expect to get anything done this way? You abuse your woman here you talk disrespectfully to people and you don't have the decency to return phone calls! Clean up your streets and make some jobs and maybe decent people will want to live here. This city is a poorly run disgrace! —Hellifax, You Suck!

Starts power drilling and hammering shit at 8am on a Saturday morning in 12-unit apartment building. I hope a piece of wood flies up and takes out both your eyes. —Up Early All Week, Was Looking Forward to the Extra Sleep

To the men in the red car who catcalled me on my bike while we were both stopped at a red light on Quinpool: Why?  First of all, I'm not sure what you were trying to get out of that.  Is it that you want to make your introductions to women as brief as possible to minimize the chances that they notice how horrible your personality is?  If so, you should probably find another strategy.  It wasn't rude of me to “ignore people when they are talking to me,” but it is rude of you to shout at me about my body out of the back seat window of your buddy's shitty car. I just wanted to go five minutes down the road to buy a package of pasta without feeling unsafe, but hey, I guess that is the risk of being alive and simultaneously a woman!  You did show a lot of persistence though—you supplied a tirade of unwanted comments for the entire duration of the light! —I was dressed and looked like a 13-year-old going to soccer practice
