To the bus driver who drove the 9 Monday night, leaving Mumford at 9:20ish:

Thanks for your patience. It really sucked that your bell was permanently stuck on, but you slowed down for every stop so we had the chance to let you know we wanted off. The 9 can be a rough route sometimes, but it's cool bus drivers like you that make it better

[Editor's note: this is more appropriately a PSSST, down under classifieds. I'll leave it up long enough for you to see this note and repost it in the right place, then I'm taking it down.]

i don't regret anything, the fact that it ended like this was good. my feelings for you will never change. they're preserved.

I came home last night from work close to midnight to my apartment next to the Arena and there were two cop cars outside. This morning I found out someone called the cop to report some guy beating up his gf. I suspect it is the same abusive idiot living somewhere around me, as he keeps screaming and smashing his gf's head everytime around midnight. on weekends it's worse, almost all day and evening. I work crazy shifts and I never can sleep with this guy around. I guess you must have called the police on him last night. Whoever you are, praise God for brave neighbours, as being old I am not that brave anymore.

I hope this girl finds the brains to leave him or at least report his brutality to the police one day to send him to jail.

this past weekend i was walking past your place and you had a hockey stick, some plywood and 3 pairs of shoes with the word FREE. one rocksport pro walker beige.

i had been getting pain in my ankle due to walking in my new 40$ shoes bought at Munford Mall. i couldn't spend another 50$ to get a better one for fear of wasting money again. i am still unemployed. when i saw those beige shoes i took them for a laugh to find it was my size. i threw my new trouble pair away and walked on with yours. today after walking in them for the past 2 days, my ankle sprain is gone. so it had to be bad shoes that caused the pain since last november after walking in those NEW running shoes.

thank you , you might have save me from some expensive chiropractor fees and no doubt a lifetime of foot problem. bless you.

I must send this one to the cab driver who stopped at the bypass going from joseph howe into the highway along the cemetery and in the direction of kemp , the car dealers, and the bridge.

It's usually a dash for good life to cross as soon as I find a safe space between cars zipping past me. Most cars race along this bypass even though it is curved and going uphill . For the two year since I've been here, no one stopped to let me cross over from the bridge to the cemetery footpath. No one but this one cab driver about a month back.

I thought I was in pedestrain heaven, like all those peacefully resting people who used to live here and have past on (ie. the folks in the cemetery).

Sir, I salute you for your courtesy. And who says all cab drivers are impolite drivers? I think this one cab driver certainly should help erase the "one brush paints all cab drivers bad" mentality.

To the man in the red cube van with Ontario license plates driving downtown on Sunday afternoon. Seeing your van made my day. This thing had windows on the side-rear on both sides, tinted, with mini-blinds! Seriously, this thing was the very definition of a shaggin'-wagon. The driver even looked the part too.

Thank you for making me smile with your retro-coolness. You made my day.

Whoever loaded up all the candy machines in Charlie's with quarters, you put a big smile on my face today. I even replaced your quarter afterwards.

I'm not sure if you'll see this or not...but its something i want to say to you. I know i've made a lot of mistakes in the past and caused a lot of trouble for us at times, and im really really sorry for that. You're the most important person in the world to me. I love you more then chocolate...and you know how much i love chocolate.

Thanks to the cashiers at my nearest Sobeys (Antigonish) who smile their greetings, look me in the eye, laugh at my ridiculous comments, and pack my bread and squishables safely. Be prepared for me to single you out and wait in your lineup!
