Thanks to the two guys who brilliantly rescued a cat from the outdoor balcony of a Halifax apartment building. The cat had been left unattended on the balcony without food and water and had been meowing non-stop for almost two days. With the aid of a ladder and a backpack for safe keeping, the rescue was made! The cat was brought to safety and purring commenced. Congrats guys!

Thanks to the guy in the pick-up truck who gave my dead battery a jump. Even though I've believed for years now this city is being mismanaged, you can always count on the people living here. I only had to wait about 30 seconds standing in front on my vehicle waving my jumper cables before you pulled up to give me a boost. And no, I am not a cute, young, perky blond who batted her eye lashes. I'm a 41 year old balding father of two. Thanks again

... to tell me where my cat is. and thanks to the folks of lawton's for not getting mad at her when she sneaks into the store. also thanks to the people who have sheltered her, willingly or not :). thanks to all the others who have stopped for a few minutes to talk to her and pet her. she's an outdoor cat and wanders around a lot. it's nice to know that i have a whole neighbourhood looking after my cat.

To the girl on Lacewood who stopped me while my nose was bleeding all over the place and offered to run to your nearby apartment to get me kleenex, then DID, Thanks!! It was very embarrasing but I was 101% appreciative that I didn't have to let it pour out all over my hands. Woulda been ugly!

Last year some time (can't remember exact date) I ended up separated from my friends as the bars closed around 3-4 am. I had to walk from cheers to Alexandra's by myself to meet my drive. As a young female walking alone at this time of night I had been subject to the typical Friday night drunk guys following/hollaring at me. I was a tad nervous to walk to Alexandra's by myself. By the time I made it to Pizza corner I found 3 kind young guys who, when I asked if they would walk with me because I was nervous, were more than willing to. When my drive arrived we also drove them home. I just want to say thank you! I don't know your names and will probably never see you again but it was much appreciated!

This is to all those unique and wonderful people I know who are true to themselves no matter what anyone thinks. You rock and you make me smile whenever your energy and enthusiasm comes my way. You make it mush easier to deal with everything and I thank you.....

I just want to thank Canadian Tire on Sackville Drive for fixing my car, and to put it mildly, don't worry, you won't see my car again. It won't make another trip from Illinois up here (the poor thing).

Anyway, thanks for all the love and I will keep you folks in mind next time I'm up from Illinois!
