I can't believe I have known and loved you for 7 years now. Other than family, that's a record for me. I know we sometimes go long periods without seeing/talking to each other, but every time that happens I'm still thinking about you and carrying you in my heart. I hope in 7 more years I will still be able to say I know you, and I love you. Thanks for being you.

The show started, and all we wanted was to dance! Sadly, we were trapped in lame rows of lame chairs in the lame Schooner Room. I thought I could see Debbie and the band exchanging disappointed looks, but maybe it was just my brain being ashamed of Halifax's poor showing. Then, a few people began to drift out of their seats to stand by the stage - giving me the oomph to do the same! Thanks to those first people who realised that sitting through that Blondie concert and clapping politely at the end of each number would have been the worst thing ever. Also thanks to everyone else who came down to the stage and danced and made the night even more awesome, and thanks to the bass player who stopped security from sending us back to our seats. In the end, Halifax did not embarrass itself! Good job, everyone. This show kicked ass.
---I fucking love Blondie. I really do.

I love how, I love you, but in a way I'm not used to. I love being with you, thinking about you, everything that has to do with you, and I'm not even jealous of your boyfriend. I don't necessarily want to steal you, and 'make you mine', I just want to see you smile. Regardless of what we do; frequent a book store, sleep on benches, discuss a painting for an unlawful amount of time; I always end up grinning about it for days following.
I love how you're one of my best friends, and we have this understanding, but not, but do, but not. But do.
The fantastic thing about it all? There's no HURT. There isn't any "uhg I'm going home to cry because you talked to a cute guy", or wondering whether or not things or mutual, or any.. well, there's no shit.
We just, are. In a lovely rather platonic sense.
And I, wouldn't have it any other way.
Thanks for making my life just that much better!

I was at Starbucks in Dartmouth Crossing and couldn't get the lid on my coffee because their lids are stubborn. I only have one arm, and you moved forward and helped me. That was so kind of you. I can tell you're the type to do what's right regardless Thank you. It might seem like a small thing to you, but to me it helped affirm my faith in humanity. A million blessings to you!

I just really want halifax to know that Pretty Things Boutique on Cunard St is the staple this city desperately needed. It is the most fabulous little shop to ever grace my life. And the owner really show a interest in everyone who comes into the shop, her customer service is the bees knees.
