To the guy who prank phone called me at work on Friday Night. You are frickin hilarious! You have no idea what stress I went through that night. Taking all these phone orders, working around the clock. My head was about to explode. Your hilarious antics made me laugh so hard, and I realized how great it felt to laugh after a long day at work. You really made my night.

Thank you so much. I walked into your store flailing and freaking out that my computer was dead and all my files were lost. By the time I left, my computer was not only not dead, it was better then when I originally bought it! I am beside myself happy with your fantastic customer service, and my faster and better macbook.

To the anonymous woman with the stroller who left an anonymous gift to an anonymous man outside of the Starbucks at Robie and Spring Garden, I saw the man's smile when he returned to his shopping cart, though you were already gone.

Thanks girl who held the elevator when I stopped at the main floor to grab my mail! You really didnt have to do that, but you were so nice you waited for me and held the door untill the annoying buzzer went off... It was not expected and it was certainly appreciated :)

I just want to acknowledge the law enforcement officers who chaperoned a "law-breaker" to the ER when I was there one evening. I was impressed with the way they remained in control, yet also went out of their way to ensure this person was comfortable and had what they needed. The cops get a bad rap at times, but even though this person was in cuffs, they made sure they did not treat them like they were.
Bravo, and I hope you are the ones the younger (well, younger than you...) cops look up to when they come on board.

Man, I was just thinking this morning on my 10km ride in to work how awesome it was to be riding a bike. Both the weather and general attitude of drivers was really clicking this past little while. I haven't seen a whole lot of bitchiness amongst the Bitchers towards on LTWWB lately either. Life as a cyclist in HRM has been pretty good lately, so I thought on my way in that today would be a good day to spread some love.
So I fire up The Coast to send some love and what to I see? An article on critical mass, no doubt a glowing knob-gobbling review of 'the scene'. Oh well, take my Love anyway...

To the guy who works at Mary Jane's: I would just like to compliment you in a rather odd fashion. You see, for a while now I have seen you around here and there and was always facinated and in great admiration of your pecs. You can tell those didn't just happen on their own, and I commend you for the work you must put into them. They are beautiful, and look nice with your dreads. I would never be able to give you a compliment like this in person, so hopefully you read this!

Just wanted to show some love for the solid waste department of HRM. My green bin got a broken wheel and was rejected last collection day. I called HRM to ask about getting it repaired and spoke to the friendliest woman who put in a repair request right away...which is free! Unfortunetly, on the HRM website it says you have to clean out the bin before you can get it repaired and so I asked about this. The woman put me through to the man who dealt with this and gave me his number right away so that I could see if they could do it without me having to dig throuhg gross compost. He got in touch and he was extremely friendly too and said he would send someone out right away to dump it and save me the trouble of shovelling out my own compost bin. So, I know people complain a lot about our city but the people down at solid waste really have their shit together! Thanks again - you made my day all of you.

so this bitch goes to the person who was working the canteen at a certain Christmas event last weekend with over 450 vendors. My daughter in law, myself and 7 month old gradson went on Sat. It was a great show enjoyed it bought lots of stuff, so after a few hours of walking time to sit, relax, feed the baby and get ready for round 2:) We go and ask to get a bottle heated up NO we can't do that! Well can you give me some hot water so I can do it myself? NO we can't do that either! I know there are liabilty issues but come on 10/15 secs in a microwave or giving us hot water so we do it all ourselves! So a big shout out to the baked potato vendor who did help us out:) Thank you again you made our day!
