I am happy to support the students of the University of Ottawa in their protest against Ann Coulter's "speech". In response to her claims of hate crimes against her, I would just like to say: it's not that we hate you, it's just that you hate EVERYONE that's not white and Christian. It's not that we're intolerant, it's that YOU'RE intolerant of everyone that's not white and Christian. Your remarks, such as the infamous "Not all Muslims are terrorists, but all terrorists are Muslims," have no place in this country—especially at educational institutions. I, for one, am glad she decided not to speak because, as your mother should have told you from the beginning Ann: If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all. —And don't come back until you learn not to hate
