It has been exactly two years since I walked out the Humane Society's door with you. The first night you curled up in a snow bank and would not come inside, until you discovered your cozy basket by the fireplace! We moved across the country since then and you discovered the joy of running along the beach and fetching sticks from the water.

You have taught me so much and I love waking up and seeing you, your eyes closed and tail waging, then the burst of energy when you run and get your "monster" to bring it to me. Your whole body wiggles when your happy and it makes me smile. I love you.—Your best friend
