I regret telling you I didn't want anything serious right off the bat. A couple months go by and you grew on me. I'm a hard ass and push people away, and now you are gone :( It may not have worked out since we were living in the same building but I shouldn't have made the conclusions before it even truly began.

You dropped hints but my wall is built too high. We may never see each other again but I want you to know you were and are very special.—A Girl surrounded by the Great Wall Of China

My life today is so full of excitement and love I surprise myself with how happy I have become. I owe you everything and you are my everything. You mean the world to me. I never thought it would happen. I never thought I would be so lucky. I never felt so loved. —Your South African Tent Monkey

Baby I can't wait to spend 2 nights with you next week in Halifax!! The long distance thing is so very sucky, but soon enough we'll be together. I heart you, it came so quickly and is so real and is forever. xx —Your Woman

To the guy in the beige truck who offered me a ride into town Monday around 4:15PM in Bayers Lake:

I was the brunette in a red jacket and had been waiting for the bus in for about 20 minutes and was obviously cold. Although I declined your offer (I don't usually accept rides from strangers, it's a safety thing), I just wanted to say thanks anyway.

I know you probably had alternative motives, seeing as though I was the only one of the four people at the bus stop you had offered a ride to. Had you asked for my number instead I probably would have given it to you - you were super sexy driving that truck.

Such a shame.—skinnyvanillalatte

To the first class-altruistic girl who chased me down because I dropped my bus pass at the Mumford Bus Terminal – who, in her running efforts - tripped and bailed on the pavement – you are an EXCEPTIONAL being! Blown away by your selfless efforts – while also feeling somewhat responsible for your tumble. I hope you are well and THANK YOU!!! —Knocked off my Feet with Kindness

THANK YOU to the person who returned the cash left in the PC Bank machine on Quinpool Rd on Saturday morning. My friends thought it was pointless for me to go back and ask if someone had turned it in, but sure enough it was there waiting at the customer service desk.

Not only was I sick to lose the money, it was an even bigger reward to know that people still do the right thing. I will remember this each time I have the opportunity to help someone else out in the future. THANK YOU SO MUCH! Good karma is on its way! —Heart Warmed

To my wife of 7 years: it has been a joy spending that time with you. You have given me two great son's you have backed me when no one else will. And with all the odd things I do in life you just shake your head and ask why - but you know why. —Mutt

Halifax, I know we're about to break up again, but I'm really going to miss you. We've been together for 23 years and I love you more then you'll ever really know. But it's me, not you. I need a change of scene and I don't want you to wait for me, but I'll come home to you eventually. I promise. Thank you for being my home, my love and my friend. I'll catch you on the flip. —East Coast Girl
