I parked down by the waterfront on Saturday night. Didn't pay enough for parking. Came back to my car later that night, to find that someone had stuck their parking payment stub, good until 8am, on my windshield!

I had put a sign on the window saying "Sorry, no candy guys - Have fun tonight!" and he felt sorry that I had no candy! So kind!

Friend, I'm sorry I did not accept your cup! What you couldn't see from the stoop was that I had just absentmindedly shaken a very full 2L bottle of cranberry juice, while failing to realise that the lid wasn't on tightly. How fitting that on Hallowe'en my kitchen ended up looking like a bloodbath.
