To the boy who ran past and shouted 'Smile, it's not that bad of a day!' to me as I was walking home from work in the pouring rain - Cheers.
I wasn't in a bad mood at all, but I couldn't help but smile all the way home as I was getting drenched and blown around in the wind. Hope you had a great rainy day too! —Waterlogged

Thank you to the people in my apartment building who don't close the windows I open in the laundry room, and don't take away the chair that I use to prop the door open. You're awesome! —fresh air is good!

To the Kindhearted Clerk at the Bayers Road station:
Thanks for making the best of a potentially awkward situation for me. When my debit card came up NSF and I looked flustered you swept in and pretended it was the wrong PIN, giving me a chance to save face. Thanks for your kind actions! —Fill'er up!

Thanks you for making this one of the best years of my life whether it was our endless weekend parties, downtown dancing, summer cabin trip or our movies dates I could not have asked for a more amazing time. Thank you to my fellow mystery NSCADian who offered me a ride to school this past rainy Sunday.
I was walking down the side street off of Quinpool next to Canadian Tire when you made your friend pull over to let you get out and offer me a ride to school. I was so dumbfounded by your kindness, that you would offer a ride to someone you've just seen around campus and don't really know. I wish I was going to school that day just so I could have accepted your offer and gotten to know such a kind person. —Bright blue raincoat

I had been having a rotten day. I got stuck in the elevator at work for 15 minutes. I sat down on the floor and it was lurching very subtly up and down. The morning sickness I've been experiencing was made worse by this.
Finally the doors opened and I resumed my day, feeling shaky and nauseated but glad to be going on with my day. I decided to splurge on a taxi home so I didn't have to walk in the rainy night to the North end. When we arrived at my home, I asked you to put the light on so I could look for my keys. The light did not produce my keys. The front door of course was locked.
I got back in your taxi and asked you to take me up around the commons to get keys from my roommate. I told you that you should keep the meter on, because I noticed it was off, but you said nothing and kept driving. I picked up my keys and when we arrived back at my house you refused my money. Your act of kindness was very much appreciated! I'm so broke and freaked out about the baby coming... You've restored my faith in the good people of Halifax! —Nauseated with no keys

I know that we could have been together happily for longer than we were. I have never stopped loving the person that you were and are, and the things you hold dear and aspire to. You have a lot to give and a lot more to see and share with the people you know now and will meet. I hope that I can be in your life someday in a way that does not cause us sadness. —Reckless and sorry
I'm a little late in sending this but:
A few months ago I visited a certain coffee shop on Spring Garden and ordered a chai latte, which is a favorite of mine anyway. The barista was super friendly, as we were chatting she asked if I've ever had a dirty chai latte. I had never heard of such a thing. So she hooked me up saying she was excited I was willing to try it since no one ever does. I have to say it was super delish. I left super happy knowing my being willing to try it made her happy, and that delicious latte got my afternoon off on the right foot! So, to her a send out a big THANK YOU! Keep doing your thing! —Likes her lattes on the dirty side

Although you soaked me from my wool socks to my hooded head today and made my hair both poof and wilt in unusual places, I am really thankful for the soothing pitter-patter of rain drops on my window pane tonight. —Cozy and warm

Thank you so much to the driver of the 14 this week who somehow out of all the people who get on your buses on all your different routes, remembered where I lived, and took the time to go and wake me up from the back of the bus so I didn't miss my stop.
It's been the worst week of my life and your act of kindness and consideration was the only nice part of it. Thank you. —ZZzzzzzz
