It was because of your unselfish, unpretentious kindness that I was able to move forward with my career with confidence and begin to master my skills by simply being willing to build that confidence. It was because of this that I was able to find out what my strengths in my industry are, and begin to utilize them properly. You reminded me why I chose my profession in the first place and renewed my faith in my own capabilities. It was because of this that I am on a fast track to someday becoming an industry leader. I never minded being bad at some of the things I tried because I was guided with such gentleness and kindness that it didn't seem to matter.
Maybe my relative incompetence back then drove you crazy. I have no idea. But all you ever put forth was encouragement and love. And that's enough. Thank you. You're someone I am proud to call my friend. —Dr. Stupid
