I've known you since the seventh grade, and now that we are in our early twenties, you've seen me through all of my growing phases (including the not-so-nice ones), so it can only go up hill from here. I can't believe that after all of these years, we are finally together. Happy, stoked about each other, and so in love. There is no other person that could satisfy my needs as much as you do. You are my past crush, my present lover, and my future husband. Don't ever change. I love you. —Your One True Love

I'm so in love with you! You are my best friend and I am so excited for the rest of our lives together. Notably for this little thing called a "honeymoon"! —Your Dutchess of Agricola

Thank you for being so perfect in everything you do, you are my soulmate. I just smile like a fool everytime I see or think of you, it's amazing! This is a short little message because I posted it while you weren't looking. I just want to give you something cute to read randomly without expecting it. I appreciate everything you do, and I am so very in love with you. —Your Chael

Thank you. Your dedication to your job is astounding. When a screwed-up mouthwash drunk tried to pull a fast one, you were there to tell him to scram. My wife and I were frightened, but you stood your ground and told him the rules, told him that real citizens were waiting to get on the ferry and he couldn't stand in the way and scream nonsense. God Bless You. —Young Couple

When I met you I knew there was something special about you. The way your eyes lit up when you spoke and the smile that was so genuine. Even the things you talked about were different. You radiated positivity. You continually brought out the best in me and in everyone you met. I later found out that you were Christian and belonged to a club on campus. You invited me to come to an event. Normally I would have said no because religion wasn’t for me, but I was so intrigued by you and your happiness I went, hoping that I could figure out the source. I wanted to thank you for your courage. God and religion are taboo subjects, and I must have definitely seemed like the type that would have rejected you (I was). It has been three years since then, and they have been the happiest! I have made so many amazing friends through you. You also introduced me to the topic of God, which is wildly interesting and has given me something to think about for the rest of my life! —Could've Cancelled Onya

Saw you at the Cobequid terminal today, I don't think it was the first time, and we shared a ride on the 87 to Dartmouth. I was a little shy, but just wanted to say you're super cute and I like your eyebrow piercing—it looks good on you! Every time our eyes met I couldn't help but worry that you'd think I'm a creep. Hope we get to talk next time. —The guy with the guitar

I wanted to let you know that I was only sending love when I asked you to move away from the front of the elementary school as you smoked Wednesday afternoon. To the girl, who was smoking; you are beautiful and whether you know it or not, little girls look up to you. You could change the life of some little girl, and one who sees you smoking may one day decide to try it too. To the boy, who told me to mind my own business; I want you to look back at your life and remember a moment, as a child when you wished someone would have stood up for you, so that you could have the courage to make a different decision. Maybe your life would be different, maybe you wouldn’t be smoking. So don’t hate, I was only sending love, to you and to the kids around you. —Running Girl

Looking at you as we spoke, months since we'd seen each other, I could see why I fell for you then. You said you saw the same. It really is a tragedy we drifted apart—I really wanted nothing more than to be there for you, for the rest of our lives together. My heart has never been as broken as when we ended. Know what though? We're still the same people. I'm the same guy. You're the same girl. We've both moved on in many ways, but if you said the word, I might just start all over again, with just a coffee and a smile... —Gone
