Every moment we spend together is so amazing. I wish our lives weren't so complicated. It's really too bad we didn't meet 10 years ago. Things could have been so different. You make me so happy, and feel so special. I hope this doesn't ever end! I love you! —Your Other Woman

Those three weeks were the happiest and most exciting days I've ever experienced. Even the "boring" everyday living stuff was fun when I was with you! Hiding under your bed and changing my name... clever! I miss you. I miss being with you. I just don't know where to go from here. How do I go about immigration or visas? I'm lost. I know that I want to spend every single day of my life with you, but I can also say that we're too young for marriage. Or are we? You're my best friend and the sweetest girl I've ever known. You treat me extremely well, and I'm so appreciative of you. I'm glad that you were patient enough to wait two and a half years for me. Don't cry, I'll be back. —Sometimes Emily

I love my best and longest friend because even when I don't see her for months and months, I still know if I called needing her help, she'd be there in an instant. Ditto to my other friends who tell me I'm hot and awesome when I'm sick in my pooh bear nightie all stuffy, bitchy, sooking and crying over stupid crap on T.V. I appreciate the support.

Thanks to my "baby daddy" who makes raising our son together (but separately) easy, drama free and not awkward. It's such a relief to not have to deal with that shit. Thanks to said man's parents who have to be honestly the best people I know, who treat me with as much respect and love as when we were together and are the parents I never had. The feeling of a family, with the dinners and celebrations and the caring when I'm sick or sad have been so awesome. I know you don't read The Coast, but I only have so many friends and I had to tell the world how freakin awesome you are.

To my son, you won't read this - a printed version won't even exist when you're old enough I'm sure, but I love you to bits. Everytime you learn something new, or be polite to people you've just met, it makes me so happy that at your age you're such a smart gentleman. The world needs more smiles.

My cat, who even when his dish is empty will wait until I brush my teeth in the morning (because he knows I'm up for the day) to start meowing and make sure I fill it.

I just wanted to take a moment to appreciate the things I DO have, realized it's more than I thought, then felt the need to share. Everyone reading this, take a second - think- and make a list . I bet you'll be surprised. I was in an awful mood and started thinking positive things to cheer me up. It turned out, I have things to be happy about apparently. —Made Me Happy Enough to Put My Chocolate Away

To the guy on Parks Street by the commons with the white bag and the sunglasses between your teeth. Seeing you just stop to pick up the garbage by the side of the sidewalk made me smile. I wish I could have stopped to help you. —A Little Less Litter is Always a Good Thing

Thanks to the man who stopped me in the mall Friday afternoon to ask me if I was single. You told me that you think I'm gorgeous and it made my day. I'm sorry if I was rude - it's never happened to me before so I was taken aback! Thanks again. —24

To the girls who brought my mother's dog to the vet after she was hit by a car: thank you, you are true samaritans. I understand you were trying to get her out of traffic and when the inevitable happened, you brought her to the vet. It must have been horrific to witness and my heart goes out to you for that, but you showed real strength of character and caring by bringing her in. The dog had enjoyed a long life and was at the stage where blindness and other health issues were setting in, no one will know why she took off, but we do know that you did everything that you could for her and we love you for it. —Missing the Dog But Loving Good Samaritans

James Hetfield, thank you for screaming creeping death in my face and pointing at me. I can now die in peace. —Just Met His Boyhood Idol

It was sunny, I lied. I just lost track of time at the beach. I know, I know. And I called you. And you were so nice. You just extended my reservation. And life just seemed to proceed effortlessly from there. I rave about you. —Share My Car

At the concert Thursday night, you and your friends bumped the tables in the beer tent spilling about half of my 2 free beers. I got a little defensive, and suggested you replace 1 beer. You made some comment about how you didn't ask me to put my beer there, and I let it go, turned around and continued watching the show. A minute later, you handed me 2 tickets to grab a replacement. RESPECT! —Beach Ball Beer Drinker

Yes, I do believe that I am infatuated with a certain bus driver. I am also married with two kids. When you see a man that has it all (and I mean that has it all) what are you supposed to do? Oh well, I guess you can turn out the lights and in your quiet moments you can have him all to yourself and have your way with him in every way. Well, goodbye. I hope to see you on the bus again someday and I can admire you all over again but until then I will keep you in my private thoughts and enjoy every quiet moment to myself. —Breathing Heavily
