Getting off work at ten sucks so my girlfriend and I went to the grocery store after, to buy random foods I was craving. There you were at the checkout. The dreamiest of boys. You made a comment on my kettle chips, star fruit, chocolate and pomegranate, but I was too flabbergasted to actually act like a normal human being. sorry, I think you're great. —Fluffy Hat Girl

A big thanks to all of the strangers who helped me navigate my baby and stroller around the city's snowy sidewalks and curbs today. It's amazing how many curbs were blocked and equally amazing how many wonderful people of all ages stopped to help lift us up and over. If my baby could say 'thanks' he'd be saying it to you! —Halifax Mom and Baby

Listen- I don't know where to start. The way you look at me makes me feel like I'm adored, admired, respected, and loved. You touch me like you are savouring my skin, and not just doing the same motions you've done with your other boys. I get butterflies every time we talk, and usually whenever I think about you. I'm very grateful for every moment we have had, and I look forward to many many more. I want to travel with you. We're good hang buddies too. Sitting together at Twilight and laughing our asses off was the clincher: I know I found a keeper. I'm in no hurry to get anywhere, but I'm definitely feelings the stirrings of a certain emotion. I feel it from you too. I feel like I found my "fellow explorer". —TypicalHfxBoy

Having to put some time in at my work it was only near the last hour mark where we discovered we had much more in common musically and artistically than expected. Thank you for providing me with a splendid brief conversation that didn't consist of the weather or current and upcoming sales. —K

To a certain professor who shops at a store where I work in Dartmouth: You seriously brighten up my day! I have to deal with mundane customers who can't carry a conversation beyond how much their merchandise is... but you come in so gracious and talk about your day with me and notice the slightest change in my appearance and compliment me. I wish everyone was like you. —Soft Spoken One

Each time I walk by you, you're playing some obscure folk song, but it always happens to be one of my most-loved ones. It makes me feel a little less lonely, as I'm sure it lifts the spirits of many others every day. I wish I had the ovaries to one day pipe in and sing ''The Lonesome Death of Hattie Carroll'' with you (if you didn't mind, that is)! Please continue to play as you do. —I Wish I Was Joan Baez

I think that you are a real blessing, secret agent. Your comment to my issue on 'identical outfits' made me feel so much better. You sound like a very nice and friendly person. You told me to gain some confidence. You advised me to brush up on my personality. Just one thing, though, men do prefer women who have BUBBLE BUTTS, right? I do not have a bubble butt. I am not very gifted in that area. I am better gifted in front. Do you think that guys like breasts or butts better? Is it true that if a guy likes the breasts on the chicken then he likes breasts better on a woman than legs? Getting off the subject, is it not true that a woman looks hot on the back of a harley davidson, with her hair blowing in the wind from underneath the german helmet with her hands hugging the driver as hard as she can? It seems that I know from you from somewheres. Well, anyways, thank you very much for commenting on my sensitive issue. Have a nice day, a nice christmas and most of all the best to you and your family. —Graciously Yours

Ok, so today: not the best day. BUT I was just shovelling my driveway (after getting my car stuck trying to power my way into it) and the city sidewalk clearing guy, who I embarrassingly had been secretly cursing for the last half hour, came over and plowed not only the street area in front of my driveway but my entire driveway! Amazing! Thank you city sidewalk plow guy. —Lady Who Should Own a Better Shovel

To the cutie working on Blowers street; we think you're adorable!! You were so sweet and sly and your cuteness melted our hearts like the delicious cheese curds on our poutine. You are divine, you are sublime, and your poutine skills blew our minds. We will be back for more... —Sophie Times Two
