To a certain student employee at a library at Dalhousie... I think you're awesome. Every time I see you though, it tends to be when I'm leaving at 5. I wish I got to see you more! And I wish we were friends. Your smile makes me smile every time. —Shy

I just wanted to say thank you for your amazing work on the Peter Kelly piece. I am so ridiculously happy that he is not running for Mayor again this year and we have you to thank for it! I hope Halifax can find some real leadership in the next election. —Lola K

Much love to this scrappy alternative free weekly; the only paper in Halifax that actually does investigative journalism.
You've managed to do what 3 municipal elections couldn't - bring drown PK and cast a light on his lack of integrity and moral authority. Well done.
I'm convinced you've done more for the future betterment of HRM than any one else over the past decade.
Big hugs. —Transplant

To a certain bunch of ladies who work at a certain coffee shop at Dal... YOU GUYS ROCK!! I hate the swill you serve called coffee, but it's a fair trade off to start my day off Monday to Friday with you ladies. Always a smile, ALWAYS FRESH, and the warmest laughter can be heard echoing through the halls!! Keep up the GOOD WORK!! And THANK YOU. —Loves Your Laughter

This love goes out to my boyfriend who takes the time to help me every way he can. On our way to work this morning I dropped my toast he had made me on the ground. I was running late as it was and it made me sad but I just threw it out. He decided to drive faster than normal and pulled into the drive-through at the local coffee shop. Looks like I got breakfast after all. I just wanted to say thanks for being sweet, helping me get ready in the mornings and driving me to work. I appreciate it and love you with my whole entire heart. —Jake's Momma

Okay so this transit strike has created a great deal of stress for the whole city, for car riders and bus riders alike. Here's an idea that would make our city a much better place: How about those of you with cars take a moment to think of the people you know who don't have cars and offer to help them out? Don't wait until they call you out of desperation to ask for help, just call out of the blue and say something like this: "Hey friend, I was thinking about the fact that there's a strike on and you don't have a car and you can only get around by foot to do errands, and since I do have a car, maybe I could help you?" I am quite sure your offer will be greatly appreciated. —One People

I'm glad we decided to ignore each other's awkwardness. To look past each other's quirks and quarks. For me, these were the reasons others had decided to not stay in my life, not bother to get to know me, and to take off at the first opportunity.
But it seems that what we had agreed to ignore is now what I find most endearing about you. You're sweeter than sugar girl! I underestimated you at first, but never again. I couldn't imagine a more adorable partner! Here's hoping I can convince you to stick around. —Captain

A big swoosh of love to my sister who has sacrificed her Saturdays to take me out and about during this dreadful transit strike. I know you have so little leisure time as you work such long hours but you're always there for me, no matter what. I love hanging out with you, browsing the shops, going to movies, stuffing our faces after a day of running hither and yon. Without you, I would be stuck in the house slowly going unhinged. You're the best sister a girl could ever hope for and you're AWESOME!!! —Big Sis
