From dancing in the street to supporting each other in our studies to all the days we've spent laughing our cares away I'm grateful for having you and your brown eyes in my life. Thanks for taking the chance on something awesome! —Your Scot-ish Amour

I thought when I left HRM 7 months ago, for a small town life in another province, it would do my soul good... all the quiet and fresh air and all! But not so much! I have missed transit, and theatre, and walking trails, and beaches, and fresh pita bread! Not to mention all the great restaurants, bars and coffee shops... The thought of missing Natal day, and Alexander Keith's Birthday was too much to bare, but no more... end of April and I am there! This is a great day! —So Flippin' Happy

Thank you for six wonderful years, my favourite Maritime town. I will miss you. I will also miss all of the people I've encountered throughout my time here. I am especially thankful for the people I've met in the last 6 months, who made my remaining days so fucking fantastic.

Lots of LOVE to the villagers, to my librarian nerds, to my loyal groups, and to everyone I've encountered along the way. Take all kinds of care. —Some Badass Dragon

Halifax, I love you. I knew it at first sight. I spent some time getting to know you and I've seen what you have to offer: vibrant arts and music scene; fun and friendly people; great micro-brews; laid-back vibe; beautiful lakes and the Atlantic coast. I know you're a little bit smaller, maybe a little less 'bustling' (read: stressful) than a certain not-to-be-named southern Ontario city where I currently live. But really, that simply adds to your charm. I know you've got it going on Halifax but will you help convince my SO? He called you 'sleepy', you're not going to stand for that are you? I'm not. —TO Transplant

Winter is almost over, which means no more cold feet, but I hope I can still warm you up when the weather takes a turn for the better, or when we are on a wonderful beach in Jamaica. —vndrew

Dear NSCAD, I am thankful to you for so many things but it's the thing which has made the most impact on my life lately that I want to shout out to: My fellow NSCADians! To those of you I don't know personally... thanks for sticking with the thing you love, even when it's under pressure! To those of you I do... my super-sassy lady, my super-serious man and everyone you have both brought into my life... THANK YOU! You make every single day (even the supremely shitty ones) well worth living! I will survive your summer absence because I know it is a wonderful opportunity to bring the people who are staying here closer in my life.

NSCAD, you may have failed with my first set of friends (they certainly made me stronger, the hard way) but you sure outdid yourselves with the ones I've found now, who make me better and better every day with their love and support! —Your Fierce Ginger

Thank you, for your kind, gentle soul and unconditional love. As I sit and stare at your empty chair, cheeks wet with tears, I am grateful for the joy you brought into my life. You were one of a kind, and will never be replaced nor forgotten. Good bye old friend! —Daddy

Just wanted to thank the girls who were dancing in their car ever so gracefully in rush hour traffic Friday. And would like to send some extra love to the one blowing me kisses. Way to get a guy out of a bad mood. —Thumbs Up Guy
