To mister tattooed university runner-man: You are the most considerate, chivalrous person I have met in a long time. While everyone else I passed on my way from Barrington Street to Queen Street just watched me in my struggle with a heavy, awkward box of boxes for moving, you actually had the humanity to ask me if I needed help and you carried it all the way up the hill for me! My vehicle has a gear shift (standard) that is MacGyvered together and slips out of commission sometimes...unfortunately on Friday afternoon at rush hour it happened as I was trying to get onto Joe Howe from some smaller street and I had to glide backwards and onto a small street to get out of the way. Two fellas in a white van got out and helped me. Thanks guys! A few minutes later it happened again about 20 feet onto Joe Howe and a helpful dude with shades and an iPod helped me shove that beast up to an apartment building parking lot on a slight incline. What a pain. Thanks a bunch to you as well. I will be working on a more permanent fix this weekend. —Black Mazda Tribute

I came to Halifax in hopes that I would experience my life a little differently, I learned a lot about myself through the people I've met and the places I've seen, although I regret not opening up to the creative people this city has to offer I enjoyed watching them from afar, maybe next time I'll have the courage to speak up!
