Many friends, acquaintances and even strangers got together to help bring this crazy vision to life. Everyone involved worked extremely hard and brought their own special touch to the project. I will never be able to truly express how thankful I am to all of you. Halifax is full of artistic, talented, amazing people that support each other in their endeavours and that's what makes it an amazing place to be an artist. Thanks for believing in me, I'm blown away. I will never ever forget it. —Forever Grateful

I first set eyes on you at an event I wasn't planning to attend, but changed my mind in the eleventh hour. The event ended. We didn't speak. We walked away and went our separate ways. For whatever reason, we both ended up at another location and we talked about everything during a night that I will never forget. The next few months were a whirlwind with many obstacles in our path---none of which were how we were when together---and too soon we reached a chasm that sent us in different directions. Separately we faced the challenge of crossing it. A necessary and, for me, painful detour. Yet, once again, we found each other---still dragging some things in our path, but on common ground. Now we can enjoy all that we have to offer to each other. With words or in silence. And with touch, oh so glorious. I can feel your warmth and share mine. I can touch you in ways that make you crazy and you do the same to me. We can look into the eyes of the other during moments of shared ecstasy. Many things in life haunt me and the same is true for you, but I am drunk with joy that you are no longer one of them. Neither of us knows where this current path will take us and I only know that, in this very moment, it is my hope---no matter how slowly we travel---it will be an adventure we share. —Wants to Scream

I sometimes don't do Sundays or Mondays well. As the weekend's end approaches, I get a little anxious about leaving you because I adore your company. I love lying next to you and laughing with you. I can't wait until we are together through the week, too. I love you, my Fargo man. —Babycakes

A big salute and a wide grin goes out to the HRPD officer I saw at 7:45 this morning safely shepherding a batch of ducklings across Wright Avenue. As H.I. McDunnough said in Raising Arizona, "Sometimes it's a hard world for small things." Thanks for making this burg suck a little bit less on a Monday morning. —Irish Kevin

You complete me. You have made my world so wonderful. You have made me who I am. You are gorgeous, driven, brilliant. Everything about you makes me smile. In 7 years, the butterflies have never gone away. The passion, the chemistry and the spark gets hotter everyday. In 26 days we say "I do," I take your name and we just keep doing what we're doing. I am honoured and excited to spend the rest of my life as your wife. XO —The Happiest Girl in the World

This one goes out to the one I love. You have changed me in all the best ways. We may have been changing for the worse lately but there will always be happy memories between us. I think about you all the time and I am happy for all of the wonderful things you do for me. Recently you have taught me a lifetime of lessons in life and love. I can honestly say that a chance right now will show you how much of a chance we still have together. Please change your mind and when our dreams of the future do come true I will thank you for your change of heart. —The Other Lovebird

My boyfriend is sweet, often a bit foolish, if not a little naive. This is well to a point. So now he affiliates to my second pair of my favourite articles of footwear which are stored in the ice the whole day---figuratively saying, of course! —Hablar un Poco Enamorado

It's been six years since I first was smitten by your blue eyes checking me out through your scuba mask. Now our baby girl has those same eyes and we're embarking on a whole new kind of adventure. Happy first Father's Day and happy dateiversary this month, babers. —Your Girls

To the workers who have been creating havoc on the evening commute to Cole Harbour as of late: Nice work on the sidewalk and landscaping! Even though you have gummed up the right lane for the last three weeks or so, you have done a phenomenal job and I forgive you. —Inconvenienced But Content

You have the best mouth and jaw! And eyes that melt me. It's wrong to feel like this but my animal instincts take over sometimes. I'm a bad girl to feel this way. —Cougar
