Laying awake in the middle of the hot and humid night, I listen for the sounds of the night. I hear the sound of the crickets. The sound of the leaves on the trees gently moving. I hear the sound of cats fighting. The sound of the street cleaner. Once in awhile a Harley may drive by. Sometimes I hear voices outside of my bedroom window. As dawm arrives, I hear the chirping of the birds. The cawling of the crows. Sadly the sounds of the night have all gone until it is night time again. —Beauty of the Night
