Last night, my roommate and I were biking down Robie Street when we spotted a paper bag on top of a bus stop bench. In the bag were two cans of cold, foreign beer. We returned home and enjoyed those beer on our front stoop. To whoever left them behind: thank you! You made the night of two hard-working gals. —TB

OK, maybe not totally blue (just the ends) but after having a long boring day it was a nice surprise to see you sitting across from me on the #1. Anyway, just wanted to say you're really cute and I'm kinda mad at myself for not saying hey, but regardless you made my crappy day a little bit better so thanks! —Skinny Dude in the Grey

Came home yesterday to two beautiful new deck chairs, a load of wood for the fire pit and hugs from my kids. In the office today---decorated cube, homemade cake (amazeballs!), homemade salsa, treats galore---and a stripper pole! Tonight, supper with my man....way to make a girl feel loved on her bday! LOVE my fam, friends and amazing coworkers! —Jenni Jiggles

At the Windsor/North grocery store on Monday night, a young male customer offered to help me with my groceries. This is the first time in all my eight months of pregnancy that someone has gone out of his/her way to extend such a courtesy. So thank you! You made my night and gave me a smidge of hope for basic human decency. And made me feel a little special. —Would Love Some More Love Like This

A huge thank you to all of the people that stopped on the highway near Shubie Park to help my dog that had been hit by a car. What a beautiful display of kindness and compassion. A giant dog kiss to the guy who drove us to the vet. My dog is pretty bruised up, but is going to be just fine. —Humanity ROCKS!

I know the ending was messy (especially for me). I don't know if you still care or love me... I know you have someone else right now. Some days I hate you for the cruel way you shut me out, but most days I am just sad. We said "I love you" so often and to know that you switched that off so quickly scares me.
You came to me broken and all I wanted was to support and surround you with my love. But I need to shut the door for my own happiness. Because although loving you was the best thing I ever experienced, you hurt me cruelly and without regard for anything but yourself. "Selfish" I think you put it.
There will always be a part of me that will wonder how you are, if you are happy, if you are recovering still. Even though you did bad things, I always believed that you were "good." I would have loved you forever, if you had just believed in me and in us.
Good luck and good love. Somewhere deep inside I hope you remember our time together with joy. —Grieving But Resilient

To the HOT FUNNY GUY who used to work at a certain art store downtown: What happened to you?!? Where did you go?!? I used to come into that store all the time---sometimes even buying things I don't even need---just to flirt with you. I wanted to ask you out, but I'm chicken shit. Thanks for providing memorable customer service. —Art Store Chick

It is amazing to see a huge artist keep it so friggin real and call out those obviously abusing their authority. "Dump the beer in the fucking bushes, not in the middle of the skate park."
Come live here man, we love you. —Excuse Me, Mr.

It's Saturday afternoon...I just went to my usual bank who I pass over 30 bucks per month in fees; and the teller service isn't even open. Their hours are Monday to Friday only...like HELLO? What about those of us who WORK Monday to Friday?? Then I go down the street to another bank, I get service with a smile and I'm not even a client, they cashed my cheque no questions asked. Not only that, they had wonderful gourmet self-serve coffee in the lineup for the public for FREE. How nice to finally get SERVED with proper, actually above and beyond service. You guys are doing something right! I am switching to your bank! If all the banks followed suit, stayed open during regular business hours and provided amazing service, maybe they would keep their customers. You would never get this at my bank...like what's a pot of coffee gonna run you, couple cents per cup? Sometimes something small can mean an awful lot to the little people. You banks got all the money in the world, I'm sure you can afford to operate on Saturdays and provide some niceties, like a coffee now and then... Hell, maybe you'd be able to hold onto your clients. You guys could all learn a lot from that level of customer service! Thanks to my new bank, keep up the good work! —You Guys Got My Business
