To the kid up on his dad's shoulders, at the front of the K'Naan show on Friday, singing along to every word---You. Are. Awesome. —A Fan

"Yeah, I have two boys and I love them very much." It made my day to overhear a mom saying this to her two little boys on Gottingen, Friday afternoon. I smiled at the mother as I walked past her to let her know that I think she's awesome and amazing. —The Girl Wearing Sunglasses and Orange Shoes

Even though we are young, I truly believe we are soul mates and always have been, since you were in grade nine, if not earlier than that. All these years and you still look at me the same way. I am scared that I will never love anyone the way I love you. I know we can't be together right now or for the next little while but even if we don't talk for days, weeks, months or end up with other people, I will always feel wrong about it because I know in my heart that it should be you. I don't believe any girl will care for you the way I do. You have always meant so much to me and I sincerely hope you are happy, truly happy, even though I'm not around. I will always love you, that will never change. I feel like I will always wonder about you and I, what could have, should have, would have been. I think all we need is time. I'll see you soon. —Your Forever Girl

It's a dangerous thing to compare the one you're with to the one that got away, but I can't help doing it. Despite all the issues we had, through all the intensity... you showed me what it was like to be loved, and come on, let's be real... the sex was stellar. This is not a confession of love or missing what we had... but a thank you for showing me what I'm worth. —Halifax Lover

It's been nine months since I left Halifax for a life in the West. I thought you knew, and that's why I never told you; three little words that I just couldn't spit out.
I have a life and a love here, but it doesn't stop me from thinking about you every day. As crazy as you may think I am, and as crazy as I've always have been, the truth is that I'm crazy for you.
It makes me sad that the distance has turned us into "what might have been." You mean the world to me. I just thought you should know. —A

My Labour Day was spent with my closest friends soaking up the sun and surf, playing games, singing and laughing lots. It was such a fun filled time and a great end to the summer. Bring on the fall! —Blessed with Amazing Friends

KB: How did we go from lazy afternoon naps, and Banjo Kazooie stoned...to blackmail, lies and the police? Thought we were better then all of this. Guess maybe not. I may never forgive you, but my heart will always have a place for you. Thank you for the best and worst two years of my life. Please stay clean. —Cat Custom

I know this summer is not what you thought it would be and I know things have not been easy for you. Leaving you alone is the best thing I can do for you right now. I will always love you and I care about you more than you know. You will forever have a special place in my heart. I know you will be okay, you just need to find yourself again and I need to let you go and do that. I'll be thinking of you my love. Wear your seatbelt. —You Know I Love You So

Marry you and have your babies? How about we start with a first date. Thanks for making me laugh it's been a crappy week. PS: I had so many better comebacks than I like your beard... —Blue Top, Black Coat, Cute Friend

To the wonderful fellow who came into the candy store I work at on Labour day evening and bought a gift certificate to be used on as many following customers as it could cover. Congratulations on making seven complete strangers (eight including myself) smile due to the lovely surprise of getting their sugary treats paid for! I hope your day at work went well as karma was certainly on your side. Thanks for making my already sweet job that much sweeter. —Surrounded By Sugar
