I am really happy for you, and I realize that our friendship has come to a point where things have changed and we both need to adjust a bit. Know that no matter what, I am not going to give up on us (even if I am a total bitch to you for a week straight because you have totally pissed me off). Like I said before, I can't imagine my life without you. — Okay So I Lied, I'll Be There No Matter What

I was working, you came in for tea. You couldn't speak because you were so sick, so I gave you a cup of tea on the house. You came back in later and stealthily slipped an envelope my way. I opened up a beautiful thank you card with a gift inside. It meant so much to me on a day when I felt my heart shutting down. So thank you for reminding me that the world is full of kindness and I hope you feel better soon! —True Kindness

To the man who was pulling the two teenaged boys on the sleds down South Street last week, you made me smile on an otherwise cold and miserable day. I could not help but wonder how in the world you managed to pull those sweet young men who must have weighed at least 100 lbs each. Best of all was your laugh when they were yelling "mush, mush". A big part of the world is loosing out in life for failing to remain young at heart. It was obvious to me that you don't have that problem. —M.S.

We had a thing going on for a summer or so and it was a blast! Then you left in December 2011 and your band picked up real good when you came back so we didn't really hang out. I just wanted to tell you that you are a really cool laid-back guy! I've never seen you mad, angry or sad, even if most people would have been in these situations. You know how to love life, have fun, and how to give your love of it to people with your passions and smiles. You're a really cool guy and because you are able to do so much more things than I can with this incredible attitude, I am so jealous of you! Wishing you best in surfing, your band, school, projects and just at being awesome! Keep it up! —Jealous Of You

To the boy with the soft brown curls who always wears a plaid shirt under his work tee-- I'm sorry that [your, uh, international chain media store] closed on Spring Garden. You gave A+ service every time I went in and I'm sure you won't be unemployed for long. You liked my headphones. I loved your smile. Hope I see your face again someday and that this wasn't really a Final Sale. — Loyal Customer

You are the best thing in my life, I have never felt as good as I do with you. I know you have a million dreams and ambitions, that is why I love you, I don't want to hold you back from them, I want to go with you on your adventure! At least stay with me until you leave, let us have these last few months if we can't have our whole lives together. — That's Not My Name

I barely know you and we only spoke a handful of times but you’re wandering in my thoughts almost everyday. The last time I saw your sweet face was in the summer and it was only a drive by. I wanted to stop and talk to you but nerves got the best of me. It's so bizarre, out of the hundreds of people that crossed my path and you're the one that I think about. Maybe we'll meet again….when the time is right. Until then, I'll be thinking of you. — Lost In Thought

It was the second time I had hung out with you and you came home with me. Even if we never get to hang out again (which I hope is not the case) I want you to know that that was the funnest night I have had in such a long time. I really needed it. —A Redhead, Not A Brunette

To all you single-occupancy vehicle folks, I would love it if you could ditch your car at the Mumford bus station (there's free parking!) and catch the bus to your destination on the peninsula. You would love it too. It would save you gas money, and make the whole system work a lot better. Imagine how fast the buses could deliver people around town if there were less cars in the way! So fast. So fast and lovely. Isn't your car lonely with just you in it? Wouldn't you rather take the bus and chat up a bearded babe or a long legged lady on your way to work? Remember, you're not stuck in traffic, you are traffic. —Bus-Riding Babes Everywhere

I've always said you've got angel wings hidden somewhere. Everyone else may not be able to see them, but I sure do. And those wings of yours have helped carry me through so many experiences, some good and some not-so-good. You've carried me through the days where I couldn't even make one small step, you've carried me through the moments I didn't think I had the strength to keep fighting, and you gave me the wings to help me soar into new and exciting paths. I love you, my angel; thank you for helping me take flight. —Your Princess
