I am lonely.
That does not make me needy nor clingy.
I am honest, highly independent
and have many goals and aspirations.
I am new to the city and my social life is failing.
I would like to be in a relationship again and
I hope this time it won’t fuck up. Not because I "need"
somebody but because I want somebody to enjoy life with.
I am beautiful, independent, funny
kind, honest and part wild child and free spirited.
Ever since I moved here for school I have struggled to meet
people even though I am outgoing.
I look like I have the perfect life but sometimes I feel like a loser lost in Halifax. —Wild Child

I met you five and a half years ago next to a computer monitor at our place of work. I couldn't tell whether you were 16 or 30; you've been intriguing me ever since. We live in completely different cities now and I haven't seen you in months, but I adore you nonetheless. Your fuschia hair and your darling cat always have a place in my heart. Looking forward to the end of my current job so I can visit the hell out of you in rodeo town. —Your east-west forever pal xoxo

How many times do you spill something in a restaurant and the servers actually come clean it up for you without letting you help at all?! Very rare, right? But in the middle of a Saturday night rush, on Spring Garden Road?! I was even so willing with paper towel in hand. Well done, guys! You got me a new chair which wasn't completely necessary, but so courteous. I was extremely impressed with the way they ran off their feet, juggling drinks, delicious food and just plain keeping a smile on every single face. These days, and I'm not sure why, I'm finding it rare to find good quality customer service anywhere so it's just natural that I give kudos where kudos are due. I hope this puts a smile on your face like your service did mine! —Very Grateful & Satisified Little Frogger

You know what's the best? Jaywalking Quinpool Road. If you don't love jaywalking Quinpool Road, you must be from Moncton or Ontario or somewhere. —Abe Sorge

I'm moving out of the Maritimes, and there’s something I have to say before I go: I love The Coast. And as a guy that at times can be a little short tempered, I have submitted my fair share of bitch "issues" here. I love you guys for that. I personally have found that they post some, and don't post others. Probably got a lil' too specific with a couple of them over the years. Sorry. But seriously, if you are pissed, angry as hell, etc etc.... this has proven for me to be the healthiest way to "get it off my chest". Because it is communal. It is local. I know readers get the traffic, or transit, or ER, etc issues as well. So many of my fellow Maritimers…I get your complaints too. It's ironic I realize that feelings of community are gained from common complaints. But there it is. I love The Coast for being a sounding board, and helping me to not say something in the heat of the moment. Thanks. —Average guy

I'm trying to move on, but you’re still the last person I think about at night and the first person on my mind each morning. —T.F.

I've never met a cashier in a grocery store nor a retail clerk in a mall that wasn't always friendly, kind, helpful. As well, never once have I had bad service in a restaurant or bar. I want to say thank you to all the gifted employees who work on the front line. I think it should be mandatory that the least amount of a tip in a bar or restaurant should be $10. It's feels so good to be treated so good time and time again. THANK YOU! —ladyhammondroad
