I would've loved to have talked with you longer but I had to get back to work. If you ever want to chat some more about Terry Pratchett let me know! —If you haven't found a copy yet I'm almost done with mine

I was struck by your sweet smile the first time we met and was so pleased to actually have a conversation with you the other day. Thank you for making our office a little brighter! I'd be happy to practise French with you any time. —HelloBonjour

Me, being the idiot that I am, left my grandfathers car parked in my driveway while the snow, rain and freezing temperatures froze a giant block of icy barricade to the end of my driveway. I thought the car may be stuck there until spring. That was until you came and saved the day Snowplow Driving Saviors. I was (slowly) chipping away at the frozen, icy doom when you drove by, noticed my struggles and offered a hand with your trusty plow. It was an early Christmas miracle. I'm sure many of the North Street rush-hour drivers were not to happy, but I sure was grateful. —Thankful shoveller

I know this is not a Love OR a Bitch, but I didn't know where to post it, so I thought it would be better as a "Love the Way we Love" item. About 2 weeks ago, I was taking the number 7 Gottingen home and noticed something shiny on one of the seats that face across each other at the back. It was an older Bulova watch, without a strap, and I assume someone was either going to buy a new strap or they were using it without a strap. It is a nice watch and works beautifully, even if it is an older watch. After it spent almost 2 weeks at my place and I hadn't done anything about it yet, I decided to return it to the bus driver so he could bring it to Halifax Metro's Lost and Found and explained what happened to him. He is bringing it to the Metro Transit Lost and Found today. If you have lost that nice, old Bulova watch or know someone who has lost a beloved old watch, please let them know where it is. Sorry for the delay in getting it to the Lost and Found. —Nice guy returning (what looked like) a woman

I saw you this morning and was stopped in my tracks! Shoulder length Raven hair, slim build.... completely stunning.

I've been up and down the hallway a thousand times. Today was the first time i've ever seen you. I was walking toward you to introduce myself but you were obviously in a hurry to get back to your work with your burrito in hand and scooted in before I reached you.

I'm looking forward to our next First encounter. —Amazed O.o

I hate going to sleep at night, because I dont want to waste a second of my time spent with you. When I'm not with you, I'm thinking about you. You are the greatest thing that has ever happened to me. I cannot wait to marry you, have a family, and turn grey. You are more then I've ever dreamed of, the most precious of diamonds. — Little Kitten

The 10 was a few minutes late to Mic Mac Mall, where we both got on, sitting diagonally across from each other in those usually-awkward seats that face one another. The bus being delayed had made me late for work, but your face made my day all the brighter. You, in your knee-high boots, red lipstick, sapphire earrings, horseshoe necklace, black skirt and coat and green shirt with your short brown hair and striking green eyes an Target bag; me in my charcoal peacoat, jeans and sneakers. It may have looked like I was smiling as I enjoyed my music, but in truth the song didn't matter: I only wanted to see a similar look crease your face. I wish I had the courage to talk to you as you looked like you'd seen some of the world and I'm sure you would've had a lot to say. Similarly, I wish I could have said or done something romantic, but my nerves failed me at the time. I regret not talking action, but the opportunity to spend the precious few moments with that I did with you before getting off on Spring Garden were lovely. I've never appreciated bridge traffic more. I'll be around and, hopefully, I'll find my grit and say something to you next time. —Belated Server of Old Folks

I was cold and waiting for over an hour for the bus. I asked you if you knew when it was coming. You asked how long i'd been waiting. Over an hour. So you called to check it out and found out it was still in Dartmouth. Thank you so much for your patience and info. You were so nice and made my long day a little better. And did it all with a smile. —Waiting for the 14

Thank you so much to the 4 men who lept to my assistance last night at the intersection of Maynard and Cornwallis. My car got stuck on a shelf of ice, despite the new winter tires and before I had time to try the gas twice I had one pedestrian offer to help push the car. Within moments he was joined by two others while the fourth went to stop traffic for a moment so I wouldn't just launch right into the side of another vehicle when it did come free. There was no convenient place to stop after success was had, and I feel terrible that I didn't get to say thank you other than yelling it through my window! You guys made my evening, and cemented my belief that our neighborhood is wonderful. —Woman in the green camry
