Thank you for the kind man in front of me in the Tim’s line last week who paid for my coffee via a pay it forward last week. I was having one of those days where every task was an obstacle. Standing in line I was counting to 10 in my mind because the service was very slow and I am one to hold my tongue because everyone is trying to make an honest living and I try not to get uptight about the small stuff. When you were done I walked up and placed my order and the lady said that the gentleman in front of you just “paid it forward” – NO WAY. Your small action turned a completely frustrating day into an excellent day. I was able to pay it forward by ensuring the server was provided a hefty tip for my coffee and the driver behind me in the Tim’s drive through received a pay it forward the next day.
