I'd like to say thank you to a special yoga teacher at my favorite sweaty studio. In an industry filled with thin people, your curvy confidence make me feel more welcome. You inspire me and remind me that its okay to love my body despite it not fitting in with soceital norms of beauty. Thank you for being you out loud and in front of all of us. —Matching Anchor Tattoo

No matter the resolve I think I have, I always end up in your arms. I can't resist you. Your feelings for me show in all the little things you do. You fuss over me. You make me laugh. I live for your storytelling. My heart aches at the thought of you going away. I love you. Take me with you. We could blink and the years would fly. —Spider Monkey

A sincere thank you to everyone who took the time to ask if I was okay and if I needed any help after I was involved in a small auto accident last week. The brakes blew out in my car and I chose to crash into a snowbank instead of the car in front of me. Special thanks go out to the group of teenage boys from the adjacent home who wasted no time rushing over - no matter how small an action it may have seemed, it spoke volumes about the kind of people you are. My faith in humanity has since risen a few notches. —Dartmouth Damsel in Distress

On Monday the 13th, around 5:00PM...You were the gal in the cap, jeans & sneakers on the #52. I was the geeky looking dude. We exchanged smiles and swayed with the bus stopping and starting. You left on the #23 and had a terrific smile. You made my day, week, and month! I hope to see next week on the 52 around the same time!

Thank you!!! —Geeky Dude

To the stranger who left a massive bouquet of pink roses on the hood of my car on Quinpool: You are a beautiful human and you made my day. I will pass it on. Namaste. —Mousie

A big thank you to the "Awesome Dude" @ the skateboard store last night. Thank you for the wheels, your patience and thoughtfulness; but most importantly thank you for taking the time to answer all of my sons questions and take an interest in him and one of his passions-skateboarding. In his own words it "was one of the coolest nights" he has had and one I will always remember. —Cheers-C

Writer was too big into being better than all the rest 'o us humble bumblers.

CBC & heebie jeebie jebus crépes, and it was time to say, "Sorry pal, but yer outta heeyah. I like my bad french accent. "

A tad bummed over wasting my bottom lines on Puff Puff Pomp-Ass,

I found solace in doing some research; picking up where I left off; bad accent et al; finding some facts in the form of interviews with fish and book worthy magic tricks...When BLAMMO!

This Demi God two-stepped ahead of my game and showed me how silly it is to have a checklist.

You will never read this.

You don't live in this country, which is sweet, because I know we both like the real yous and mes.

Person à America Land, You are the best danged thing that has ever happened to this one.

See you in my dreams....And also in one month.

First of all, I'm a happily married woman with no intentions of connecting romantically with said bearded guy. I just needed it to be known in the least awkward way, that this man has the most BEAUTIFUL beard I have ever seen. We both go to the same school on the Dartmouth Waterfront. I see you frequently, mostly on the bus, but last week I saw you while grocery shopping with my husband. We passed each other in the canned soup aisle, I got really excited and turned around to my husband to exclaim "THAT'S HIM!". Before I even got the words out, my husband looks at me with a stunned face and says, "that man had the most beautiful beard". You must know it, ladies and men must ask to touch it. It blends so well with your perfectly coiffed hair; thick and well groomed, I wouldn't be surprised if you were a beard model. To steal a quote from Jemaine Clement of FOTC because he said it best, "your beard is good". — Beard lover

The recent thaw freed the bags of wet leaves that were frozen in our yard, and we knew they were very heavy but we put them out for collection anyway. I watched while you wrestled with the green bin and the Christmas tree, and then struggled to lift those heavy leaves into the composting truck. I hope you didn't hurt your back. You could have left them by the curb with a sticker that said "overweight" but you cleared them away. Awesome composting man! —Bags will be lighter next time
