Hugs and headbutts to the lovely person who left the kitty treats in my mailbox today :) So thoughtful--you made me smile after a really long day, and you made my feline army very happy (as well as my dog, who kinda thinks he's a cat too--lol) :) Thanks! —"Y'all come back meow, ya hear?"

I've had feelings for you for 13 years, and I finally get to be with you. I know that I'm probably screwing it up by being weird all the time, but honestly, I'm just so thrilled that this is happening that it's effecting my brain functions. I think the world of you, and I'm just happy to be here. —Old friend

I get back into the city tonight after too long in central Canada. I'm here not for a vacation, not for some time away, but for her. Only in Haliwood for a few days, but it's more than worth it. To be able to be with her, even briefly, makes the time and money spent completely justified and I feel ookie just thinking about waking up with my face buried in her long locks.

We've never been intimate -at least not in the physical way. But we were eachother's other for a very long time. This trip is not the time or the place for that, but my heart still quakes when I think about that smile.

I'll , probably give it another 20 or 30 years. Like a good scotch, it gets better with age. —In sin and error, pining

Four years ago I worked at a well-loved locally owned grocery store. You were a regular shopper and always caught my eye. You are so very handsome. On Halloween I dressed up as The Lady in the Radiator and you sang In Heaven to me. I was so absolutely flattered that I couldn't respond at all. I never got your name and couldn't begin to fathom how I could get to know you but I wish I'd found a way. It has been 4 years and I still think about you regularly. I just wanted you to know that you left an impact. —Melted Lady

To the friend who discarded me - I still cherish the friendship we had, regardless of the circumstances. I always respected you, and still do. I think you have a lot to offer - more than you realize.

We were both going through shit, and you made it easier sometimes. I wish things didn't turn out the way they did. We have not seen each other or spoken in a while, but I hope to see you one day driving to the ocean.

I will reach for my trumpet.

I don't know if you read the coast but a part of me sure hopes that you do! You don't even know me but you brightened a very dark day for me .. A heart broken Hott mess walking to work last week when our paths crossed at the intersection by the commons , to you this might have been a common action but when you smiled at me I felt beautiful again, the sadness I felt subsided in the comfort of your amazing blue eyes as we crossed paths that day .. I fought the urge to chase after you to thank you .. Only because I had to get to work .. So here I am thanking you my gorgeous blue eyed stranger !! Safe travels with your matching scarf and backpack —Red Hott Mess

To all the waitresses/bartenders who have not fallen into the destructive booze chugging powder snorting party scene cycle, I adore you. You are a rare and fine example of strong willed individuals following your own paths. I hope your reap the rewards.

Halifax needs more of you. I need more of you. —Patron

To the handsome bald man in the produce section at the grocery store. I come in every day just to watch you work, the way you scoop ice is the sexiest thing I have ever seen. I wish you would feed me fruit naked in bath. Please never stop working there, it would ruin all of my fantasies. —Fruity Fantasies

An big thank you to a certain pizza establishment in the Hydrostone for going the extra mile on Valentines Day. You took my idle request and turned it into reality. You are too kind--thank you!! —Appreciative
