I know the bus drivers in this city take a lot of criticism. But I witnessed two situations yesterday where bus drivers went out of their way to help people. I saw a bus somehow signal to another bus to wait at a stop so that a passenger could hop off one bus and run to catch the one ahead of it. Then later that evening, I was on the 7 with a couple who were trying to catch the 80. The driver not only checked the 80's schedule for these folks, but he told then to come on board and if he saw the 80 behind him he'd let them off at the next stop to catch it, which is exactly what happened. People like to bitch and moan about bad drivers, but I just wanted to give props to the drivers who go out of their way to help people. Thanks for making our city great! -Love This City
