Bicycles are once again turning up at Metro Transit's lost and found. Was your bike stolen? Maybe it's there. Did you forget it on the bike rack? There's three of them there now. Maybe one of them is yours. — Good samaritan

Down at the waterfront tonight our leashes tangled as our little dogs played. I'm glad my picnic was crashed by that wedding party; if it wasn't, we may never have crossed paths. Meeting you and your little guy made my night beautiful again. Maybe we'll bump into each other again, and if we do I'll find the courage to introduce myself. —A Shy Girl and Her Social Butterfly

To the lovely female staffer, originally from the Valley, with a purple streak in her hair working in a major mall. You offered me a free hot beverage as a token of thanks after waiting patiently for the wedding shoppers to be done with their purchases. It was a lovely gesture, and the company you work for should be proud of how you represent them. It was a small gesture but gratefully appreciated. —The Earls Garden Drinker

I first saw you weeks ago at the karaoke bar. You.. Gorgeous man with wavy long hair and beard. Me..short, cute brunette. I was at the bar shooting tequila and we exchanges 'hellos.' I saw you a second time last week checking out the produce in the west end. I was tongue tied when I saw you again. If you're ever up for some Friday night karaoke, you know where to find me :) —SingerBabe

I love talking to you. We have never met, but I haven't smiled this much at a phone in a while. I'd invite you to the party in my pants... But I don't like wearing pants. —Tinder Loving Care

This generation may be the worst of them yet, but our childhoods all had something genuinely beautiful in common.
Since the start you had our attention, you had our laughs and now our cries. Up there on the big screen was the dad that every single kid wished was theirs, the inspired teacher they wished taught them, even the strict nanny they wished kept them in line. You kept us smiling and laughing and our entire generation couldn't be more thankful. With your craft and your talent you inspired us.
You taught us so many things; "Seize the day, because each and every one of us in this room is one day going to stop breathing, turn cold and die", "Poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for", "The worst thing in life is to end up with people that make you feel alone", "No matter what people tell you, words and ideas can change the world". You taught us that those who seem the happiest can be suffering the most. This generation will never let your lessons be forgotten.
Rest in sweet peace, you brought an entire generation of children laughter, I hope you can now find your own. Thank you for everything, we love you. We ain't never had a friend like you, and we never will again. —We were ALL his damn kids, too!

On my way in to work this morning I suffered a flat tire. I managed to make my way off of Windsor and pulled over on Williams St. to change it. No stranger to a bit of grease under my nails and quite capable to do so on my own, I got to it, the most distressing factor for this Damsel was I had to remove all of my jewellery, pin back my lengthy locks and remove my heels and throw on my hikers to perform the task to cause least amount of work apparel wreckage. Whilst in the midst of the change, you came upon me, all handsome on your bike, you kindly offered to assist mentioning you had had a flat on that very street not long ago and someone had offered to assist you, you would like to pay it forward. I now regret telling you that I was ok on my own. Had I accepted your assistance, I could have offered to take you out to thank you if you were indeed single and interested. Regardless, your offer made my day, thank you! —Non-Distressed Damsel
