At first your leopard print hat caught my attention while walking into the SuperStore but once our eyes met, we couldn't stop exchanging looks and smiles while your friend kept walking. We exchange smiles a few more times as you moved through the isles before I headed to the checkout. Just have to say you are one beautiful woman, wish I had said something instead of just lockings eyes with you. —Your smiling gentleman

I apologize if my light was too bright for your charming blue eyes, but if you are who I think you are, introduce yourself. No two flames are alike, but maybe our flames burn with a likeness. —Beanie Barista

This is a big thank you and shout-out to the two Halifax Transit drivers who helped me get my Kobo e-reader back after I accidentally left it on the bus on the Friday before Thanksgiving. My husband raced me out to the bus depot in Burnside once I panicked and realized I left it behind, but lost & found was closed. A female driver heard us talking about it, and offered to help. She sort of knew where I got off the bus, and was pretty sure she knew who the driver was on the bus I left the Kobo on. She went back into the dispatch centre and found out he had it and he was on his way in to end his shift. Long story short, thanks to these two amazing drivers, I got my Kobo back on Friday night without waiting until lost & found re-opened on Tuesday after the long weekend. A huge kudos to two drivers who really made my day. I always tell people the drivers on Halifax Transit are awesome, and this just proves I am right. —Chaining the Kobo to my wrist from now on...

I see you almost every day at my work. You don't know it, but you are the reason I put my lipstick on in the morning. There seems to be something special about you. Would love to get to know you more. Hope you keep stopping by :) —shy admirer

My shirt might have been outrageous, but I genuinely liked you and your adorable freckles at Refs on Saturday night. Find Ashley Nunn-Smith on Facebook if you liked me too. —Ashley, who still owes you a drink

To one in particular, thank you for restoring my faith in the sense of community and taking care of me in the shittiest of situations that nobody should ever have to deal with. I realize it was not an easy thing to procure, however, I appreciate everything you did for me provided the circumstances. I honestly cannot thank you enough for looking out for me and making sure everything turned out in the end. It means the world to me.
Also a major thanks to the few of you who knew briefly of the encounter and made sure to check up and make sure my night had turned out well.
I cannot even express my gratitude towards you guys.
Thank you so much. —That (somewhat) Friendly Amazon
