As I was driving down Connaught in my silver Saturn you, an older gentleman, were crossing the street at a marked crosswalk. I was not on a phone, smoking, eating, drinking or playing with my radio. I was, however, blinded by the sun reflecting off the wet and slippery road and panicked already about being an hour late for work due to the poor road conditions. And I didn't see you until I was passing you. It's a very poor excuse I know for almost seriously hurting or even killing you. I only hope that this finds you and you take my actions as accidental and not a result of ignorance and forgive me for what might have been. —Sorry

You are the most wonderful type of human being. Although I can't seem to sum it all up into one word, I can honestly say I enjoy everything about you. Your devilishly handsome bearded face, the way your voice sounds when you sing, your big-spoon cuddle skills, the way you support everything I do, how you teach me things and make me think, your multiple magical talents and of course your ability to cook a wicked fried egg. You mean more to me than you know. —A girl & her cat

You asked me if I went to the concert but I sadly had to say no. I wish I could have said yes, because if I was there I would have seen your smile from across the arena and quickly came over to chat. I am just so thankful for the time I did get to spend with you. Maybe we can take your dog for a walk, before or after dinner, just as long as we can spend time together. —The mayor

Thank you not only for your warm smile when I got on the bus but also for checking in with the elderly riders to make sure they didn't miss their stops. Also for getting off the bus all together to carry off one woman's walker and then taking her hand and helping her down the steps. —Your kindness made my day

I seen you on the bus a few times and waiting for bus. You always wear earphones and sometimes look grumpy. Most times you are dancing along to your music and look like you have a lots of confidence. I wish you would look at me to see your pretty eyes. I like you're hat

As I got into my vehicle after the Moosehead game Friday night, I let out a defeated *sigh* as I noticed a ticket in my front wiper... but it wasn't! It was $5! Thank you generous stranger! —pleasantly surprised

I feel like you deserve a love so this is for you... the cute blonde I sat next to on Wednesday who got out at Scotia Square who works at a certain purveyor of produce. I'm sorry we didn't have more time to chat but... maybe you were relieved and couldn't wait to get the hell out of there! Haha. Either way you restored my faith in humanity a bit and I had a smile the rest of the way home. Thanks for that at least :) —Coast lover
