It's coming up on a year since I found out I was going to be making a decision I couldn't undo. It's really only been in the past few months that I've recovered from it. And a little love to self feels appropriate. Sometimes I imagine what my life would be like had I made a different decision, but I always know I made the right one. To the person I love most in the world—you're doing really well, and I'm proud of you for all of the decisions you have made. For your maturity and unrelenting drive to move forward. It was hard, and more hard things will happen, but you will make it through. At this point I'm confident you can make it through anything. —From Me

Here's some love for the girl waltzing gracefully down Young Avenue tonight! I was having a stressful evening, and you reminded me that sometimes dancing makes it all better. —Girl on the bicycle

I just wanted to say how great it was to meet you that random night at Charlie's! I find that even well out to sea, I have been thinking about you a great deal. I am really looking forward to our next random encounter full of Llamas, ice cream and burgers (or maybe sushi?!). Oh, and happy birthday! —Counting The Days

It’s not about love. It’s an apology. To the maroon van on the Windsor exchange Monday Nov. 9, at 7:40am: You were speeding up and I needed to get into your lane so I used a dangerous driving tactic to make you slow down. You prob think I'm just another awful driver, but I did that on purpose. Sorry. That was an asshole move. —Silver Car Blondie

This is a strange kind of love. I love that you finally quit. I knew from the start you couldn't handle the job. Taking time off work not doing a full week in the 15 months you were there. Stress leave OMG I swear a bit of hard work would kill a NOT SO tough guy like you. You're supposed to be a man grow some balls. At least I can now go to work and enjoy my job again like I did before you started there. Me a lower class ( in your opinion) female can handle the work a tough guy like you couldn't . Good Luck to the next company stupid enough to hire you —Real Hard Working Person

So about a month ago I posted a "Love" to the Halifax Transit angel who found my wife having a seizure by the side of the road. However, I didn’t mention that there was another lady with the driver who was instrumental in taking care of my wife and waiting until paramedics came. How can you thank people for something like that? However, in the most bizarre twist of fate, today I took a detour and what did I find by the side of the road? The same lady who helped rescue my wife. Having a seizure. By the side of the same road. So in a totally bizarre act of reciprocity, I got to give first aid to the same woman who helped save my wife a month ago. Made my heart sing. How do you account for that? Statistically? Karma it is then...Halifax I’m feeling and giving the love....pay it forward. —hali4eva
