A big thanks goes out to the awesome woman who took the time to stop and mouth 'I love your sunglasses!' to me while I was sitting in my car outside a certain grocery store. I was having an awful day and your small gesture of kindness was a bright spot! —Thankful Stranger

We waited for what seemed like an eternity in the Boomers line last night and I had every opportunity to try and charm you, but I failed. It's not every night that you find yourself standing next to the perfect mix of sexy-cute. I should have said more, should have tried harder and been more inquisitive, but I didn't want to come on too strong.

But then we ran into each other inside. Weeeellll more like I had a goofy little dance off with your friend (which btw, I think a rematch is in order). You weren't dancing much at that point, but then Straight Outta Compton filled the air and there it was:

The prettiest girl in the room and quite possibly the city - the girl you picture taking home to your parents or sitting in front of a fireplace in some expensive chalet in Switzerland - is also a beast on the dance floor! The hair's flying, the sea foam heels are side stepping - THIS GIRL'S GOT SWAG! I couldn't help just stop and think to myself "Where did this girl come from?!"

Until next time Boomers Blue Dress Bombshell. —Party Shirt Pickle

Over Mother's Day weekend my bf and I were dealing with some relationship issues. Saturday was tough and I was pretty depressed so I went to get some food alone in Clayton Park. A lady said she loved my tattoos as she walked by. Just to have someone smile at me and say something nice really brightened my day and made me choke up a bit. Then the next day my bf and I were getting out of the fog and decided to go for a drive together, which was really nice to start to mend after the fight. A stranger paid it forward at the drive thru and paid for our coffee. Again, having someone be nice (even in a small way) really made me feel good inside. So thank you to both strangers. Your small act of kindness can sometimes really lift someone up when they need it most. —Purple-Haired Lady

I want to thank the person who turned in the purple folder left on the number 7 bus on May 19. The folder contained very important and personal information. I was so happy that someone out there was as thoughtful and honest as you were.  I hope something really fantastic happens to you very soon. Thank you so much. —Eternally Greatful

6 months ago I wanted to tell you that we should give it all up and just be together. But now, you've got someone amazing, and I do too. You and I together wasn't the answer. And that took us a long time to figure out. But I'm so proud of you, and of us, and the love that we have as friends is something pretty magical. Here's to us, and to them! —Your BFF

I want to send my plea of remorse to those who I'd been a bully to in Jr. High, 10 years ago. I was a meanie meanie bo beanie and I am more sorry for this than anything else in my life. I wish I could take back every nasty word I'd spoken, every punch thrown, and every time I excluded you. If there is anything in this world that I understand is being bullied, but I was just as bad as those who had persecuted me. I hope to send love to anyone who was bullied, especially those who felt it from me. For myself and all remorseful Jr. High bullies, I am sorry, you are not what I was trying to convince you that you were in Jr. High. You were good enough to be included in my group of friends, I was just too stupid to realize. —Remorse filled ex-bully

You make me so comfortable yet too anxious to say anything. Age is just a number. Our mutual awkwardness could be the perfect match. —awkward girl

Thank you to the passerby who called the fire department to Creighton Street last Friday. You helped prevent the fire from spreading to all of the attached buildings on either side and likely saved an entire block from going up in flames. —Lil Smoky

I see you every morning at the Starbucks in the north end. You have short dark hair, are always dressed impeccably and drive a little green Mini. I think you are as cute as they come, but it's the way you carry yourself with such confidence that makes you so beautiful. One of these mornings I'll work up the courage to say hello. —Mr. Americano
