My friend and I were in a tight spot when the footrest on her wheelchair broke, making it unsafe for us to move and try to take the city bus home. We tried fixing it. We called various cabs with no luck. We were at the end of our rope when you came along. Within a minute, you were able to snap on the footrest while I held up her legs, and taking only a hug in payment, you left and we got home safe. We can't possibly thank you enough and we'll always remember you as the superhero the Mister Fix-it who came to our aid!

Merci beaucoup for saving me from the throes of another retail shift with your compliment. You completely turned my day around and I couldn't stop smiling just thinking about it.

To the customers who called out the old man that was cursing at my co-worker, thank you. Thank you so, so much. I've been in fast food for over 10 years (yeah, it's sad, I know) and today was only the second time in all those years that customers took a stand for us minimum-wage employees being abused.
And there were THREE of you that all spoke up completely on your own! We get more shitty people coming through than you can imagine, screaming at us over stupid shit, and knowing that even just a few of you were willing to speak up on our behalf gives me at least a little bit of my faith in humanity back. Thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I didn’t know if you wanted my bagel or to say hello. Either way I’m grateful. I was thinking about how much I missed my previous one, but you dried my eyes and made my day. Hopefully I’ll see you around the hydrostone again for more ear scratches.

This crunchy newspaper probably isn't going to land on your counter anyway, but I just gotta get this out. Not talking about it is killing me. Not talking to you is just dandy, 'cause the arguments destroyed our love. But we're family. We have a kid together. I have come to realize that I deserted you—because the threat of being deserted was too much and my genetic response took over.
Well, the government took over, technically. I was the weak one and it was in my face all the damn time, between running from you and running back to you, getting that baby bonus—and now my whole family's dirt poor in the wake of trying to help you get your shit together. I love the memories of when things actually were working. We had synergy and it was powerful. We're so much more powerful when it's shared. You're unlike anyone ever, bold to the bone, steely, silly, sexy. I love you so much for raising our daughter. She's the most perfect thing I've ever seen, and I know you're committed to this.

In this world where people are often too busy to stop, you followed us and let us know that our bike fell off our new bike rack on the McKay Bridge. Not only that, you followed us back to the bridge to ensure we got our bike back. You, good sir, are a wonderful human being. We were too much in shock to properly thank you so we hope you see this and know just how grateful we are. Thank you you wonderful man. You made our day!

That's what I wish I said. you were so sweet, you chatted with me, took my photo at Dal O Week and I froze. You made me laugh. You were so kind and cute, but I froze. I don't even remember your name, just that your hand tattoo said Love. I wish I didn't freeze up. Thanks for the photo, are you single?

I was hanging out with my daughter looking at the jewelry and you struck up a conversation with me. I wanted to talk for the rest of the day with you.
