I am so grateful to have found such an amazing friend. I don't know what to say to you to make life better especially with all the unexpected heartache and loss. The days can be sometimes be dark but you are never alone. Don't ever forget it. —Bunny
God bless you, Wray…you were always a friendly face in front of the old library. Very sad the way you went. Hopefully some good will come of it. —Bluenoser
You're probably too busy being an awesome mom/social justice fighter to read this but thank you! Thank you for taking the time. Thank you for being open and honest. Thank you for speaking with knowledge and intent. At the city council meeting Tuesday night you reminded not only the councillors but everyone watching that development comes with a cost. The cost between 20 and 25 storeys is real and we as a community need to decide how much we're willing to sacrifice. Thank you! —Another Jan Gehl Fan-girl
To the blue-eyed, red-haired, always well-dressed Regency Park angel. I didn't get a chance to say goodbye to you. You are a rare bird amongst the crows. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. —Great Admiration
To the smoker girl who worked at a Dartmouth grocery store. We talked a little about work and weather; you even said I looked like I was going to Hawaii with my blue colours and tropical shorts. I had a nice time chatting to you that evening while I waited for my friend to pick up. As it turns out, you were standing vigilantly for a cab called for someone named Ron. When this Ron came out, he was an elderly man who you graciously helped and made sure he got into the vehicle safely with his walker cane. I just wanted to say that you truly are an honest to good person...Never let anyone tell you differently. All the hugs to you! —Malh
To the gentleman with the ample supply of deep thoughts in your head- you had the most beautiful canine smile wrapped in a very charming presence. Not to mention the distinctive markings. Simply admiring. —Observer
I made the switch over to a large gym recently, and was a bit unsure about working out in and navigating through a new space. This gym attracts a more bro-like demographic than gyms that I have used in the past and, boy, did that make me feel nervous. However, my fears could not have been more unfounded. Every person I have encountered through my daily workouts has been so respectful and understanding of the fact that a gym is, at its core, a communal space. Thank you for allowing me to recognize my own biases and proving me wrong at every turn! —Happier and Fitter
Hey Mr. Magician, Mr. Crossword Master, you Bohemian Rhapsodist (?) —yeah you! I want you to know I had a really great time avec vous. Truly. Like that comfortable compatibility of matched perversions and humour and such that just doesn't come around that often. I can’t be calling you and probably never will because I can't trust myself to be sensible. But damn—for the record I want to state I really just enjoyed your company on the most genuine of levels.Maybe I'm being silly, but honest nonetheless. I wish we could have been friends some more... uh huh. Also, I'd love to know if things are working out for you and S/A, has she come to her senses yet and put forth some GD enthusiasm? —Japan XXX
