Every week, every single week, for the past four months (and counting!) you take time from what I can only assume is an incredibly busy farm life to come into the city. You hand-deliver not only your organic produce, but also your eggs, fruit and pasture-raised meats to my community. Everything is grown with such love—I swear I can taste it in every bite.
My family and I wait for our box of goodies to roll in from Port Williams to Bedford. Opening our share of vegetables every week is beyond exciting.
Thank you for taking such good care of the land you grow on, the soil you nurture and the families you feed.

Really good ice cream! Visible soil! Cool events! The Coast! Halifax, I missed you so much. No matter how many new buildings have popped up, how many new craters have appeared in the ground, and how many people have up and left for Toronto, you are still the place for me. I am so happy to be home again, and not just because it means leaving a particularly dull neighbouring province.

Thank you to the workers at Purdy's Wharf who, at 3am, had to deal with me stepping in their wet cement. I had had a long night and apparently became careless and disoriented in your work zone. You were so forgiving and friendly—and one of you sweethearts even cleaned off my sneakers with a sponge. Total angels! Thank you!

To the fine people of this city: I just want to say thanks to you for being so accepting of transgender people. Since I've started my transition, everyone I talk to about it has been fantastic. I've felt so supported, even by strangers. I currently still present male on a daily basis and nobody second guesses me when I tell them I'm trans, which I really appreciate. Probably the only bad experience I've had was when two gay males told me I was ruining my body.

Thank you for the thanks! My niece and I were having a day out and stumbled across the Canon. She was so stoked (and so I am I honestly) to see your thanks online! You made a 13-year-old feel like a superstar. It was the best teachable moment I can recall in a while!

My friend and I were in a tight spot when the footrest on her wheelchair broke, making it unsafe for us to move and try to take the city bus home. We tried fixing it. We called various cabs with no luck. We were at the end of our rope when you came along. Within a minute, you were able to snap on the footrest while I held up her legs, and taking only a hug in payment, you left and we got home safe. We can't possibly thank you enough and we'll always remember you as the superhero the Mister Fix-it who came to our aid!

My own damn fault: I wore my prescription sunglasses into the surf on Natal Day Monday at Rainbow Haven. I got caught by a wave and the glasses were torn from my face. My girlfriend and I looked for the rest of the day, trying to spot them on the beach or in the water. Without any expectation, I alerted the lifeguard and gave her my cell number.
You found them—black prescription Oakleys with a purple stripe —and took them to her. She texted me just as I was leaving the beach. Shock and delight!
Thank you so much for that. You were my Natal Day miracle.

Dear owner of the app,
Just sending a GINORMOUS thank you for taking it upon yourself to support the Dartmouth SPCA. Please know that what you did was appreciated by Haligonians and animals alike! It's people like you who make me proud to be from here.

To the guy who came to the show in full costume: You made the evening exponentially better. Thank you for that! It was such a great time.
