Hey you, the girl who saved me from having a total meltdown in the front row at The Bump: I hope you see this and find a way to connect. You hella cute, if I wasn’t in the middle of having a meltdown, I woulda totally asked you for your number… so if you see this…let’s find a way to connect!

I know you're completely off limits, but I can't stop thinking about you. I realize I don't talk to you much, but there's a reason for my silence: You render me tongue-tied with one glance. Sorry for being so abrupt yesterday when you approached me. I'm a complete dork around men I find attractive. You're the first guy I've had an interest in in almost three years, and I'm kinda rusty. I know I don't have a hope in hell with someone like you, but a girl can dream. Thanks for making work tolerable with your dark, brooding, sarcastic presence. You're fine as hell—but you already know that.

To the guy with the curly hair and glasses who works at one of the NSLC's dope counters: I play the line game trying to get you but I always end up at the other guy's tilt. Such a bummer as you are lovely. I wonder if you're single?

It was nice sitting next to you on the bus to Halifax. You boarded in Amherst, I think: Blue and black and denim. You said you'd have to sit next to me as it was the only seat. How could I have minded?

I asked if it was still raining outside, although I had a window seat and could see for myself. We didn't say much on the drive, but I would have sat there happily all the way to Yarmouth, had we both been bound that way.

When we were leaving the bus at the terminal, you smiled and offered to let me go ahead. I grabbed my backpack from the overhead, sat down, and froze like a kid at his first middle school dance. By the time I left the bus, you were gone. I still have the weird note I scribbled as we were pulling in, but could not offer you when it counted.

Maybe we'll sit next to each other again sometime. A guy can hope!

Blonde beautiful girl wearing a yellow dress on the first day of March. I immediately noticed a distinctive personality, a unique soul, one who can laugh at anything, one who is kind and caring to others. Her sweet smile can melt anyone's heart, her blue ayes are from another galaxy. You made my day and possibly my existence.

You were at The Oval. As was I. It was the last Thursday in February at noon or so. I couldn’t help but drift close to you to watch you skate. Your blond hair flowing from a red beret. It made my day to do a few more laps. See ya round, and round and...

To the cute guy who sat three seats down from me at Vice this afternoon at MicMac Mall. You had longish hair and glasses, I had red hair and a big sweater. I meant to smile back and you but was momentarily too shy.—Boxing Day bold

You were on the bus heading to Dartmouth and picked up a glove another lady dropped. I thought you were cute but I’m shy and didn’t chat. Also, is hitting on people on buses a thing? I don’t know, but I hope to see you commuting again!

To the man at Alteregos on Saturday with the beanie, forearm tattoo & beard: Wow. I don't know if you're a Halifax Pop Explosion artist just passing through or a longtime Hali resident, but you are one handsome dude. If you're looking for a broke uni chick who likes coffee, I'm your girl.

You are a handsome guy (about my height) who works out at Dalplex in the mornings. Sunday you left at 10:45 am wearing black Blundstone boots after we locked eyes a couple of times downstairs. I'm new to the city, very shy and inexperienced. Maybe I'll see you there around the same time on Sunday Oct 28?
