“It’s been an exciting year for us,” reports The Brood, whose angular, throwback rock is your favourite experiment this year. “We’ve played tons of festivals, toured with TWRP and went to Europe for the first time. We just released our first full-length album, Transistor, and plan to tour it extensively in 2018.” Heavily endorsed by Joel Plaskett, who knows a thing or two about music, the four-piece remains humble (and paranoid): “Thanks to all the fans who voted for us, though we believe Russia might have had a hand in this.”
