Since 2011, Evan’s Fresh Seafoods has been serving scallops, clams, fish burgers, seafood chowder, lobster poutine and lobster sandwiches out of Alderney Market, but nothing sells faster than Evan’s fish and chips. Founded by West Pubnico fisher Evan d’Entremont, and run by his daughter Joline and her husband, Oussama, who co-owns and manages the restaurant, the small-but-mighty Dartmouth seafood joint has built up a steady pool of regulars who stop for weekday lunches with a prime view of Halifax’s skyline.
