With so many talented musicians in Halifax, it was difficult for our readers to choose just one to be our Gold winner for Best Pop Artist/Band. Despite this, they remained consistent, voting for Neon Dreams, making them the six-time winner of this category. Hot off the release of their latest album The Good, The True and The Beautiful, vocalist Frank Kadillac and drummer Adrian Morris have made themselves busy touring both Canada and South Africa. They also recently finished up a European tour supporting their new record, which Kadillac has described as his version of the hero’s journey, embodied by songs like “The Art of Letting Go,” which itself is a tribute to how the music we listen to shapes our lives. “I started finding all these songs, like ‘In The End’ by Linkin Park. That gave me a voice,” Kadillac said in a previous interview with The Coast. With a new hit album and a year of performances across the world, it’s no wonder our readers voted Neon Dreams to be the Best Pop Artist/Band of 2024.
