That was me that left a roll of pennies in your coffee shop tip bowl this past Thursday morning. Because you only gave me bills in return from my $20 and I felt a $5 tip on a $5 moccacino would be pushing the limits of my appreciation, I scrambled through my pockets in search of change, only to find a dime and a roll of pennies I was going to take to the bank on my next visit, both of which I put into your bowl. So imagine my surprise when, while waiting for my beverage to be made, I heard you disdainfully alert your coworkers about your monetary finding. The three of you Paul Bunyan look-alikes sighed, rolled your eyes and complained about your findings as though someone had just pissed on your grandmother's grave. First of all, it's still money. Second of all it was rolled. Thirdly, you're within spitting distance of two fucking banks. And lastly, you launched into your medley of ingratitude without any thought to the fact that the depositing customer might be within ear shot. I was trying to be courteous. You were imperious and rude in return. Next time, I won't bother leaving a tip at all. In fact, there won't be a next time. You can GFY. —Juan Valdez

Hey you yes I do mean you the obnoxious office skank who's apparently been in a relationship with a guy for 8 years. I cannot stand how you rub up against not one but 4 guys at work and still claim you are just a sweet Christian girl who likes to have fun. Wake up sweetheart and smell the roses your just working at a call centre fucking around on your poor boyfriend if he only knew about the sexy msgs to the office hipster or the jump up wrap your legs around hugs you give to the rapper or the cock rubs you gave to the old office asshole. Peice of advice if you don't care about self respect or stds pick up a pole at your next job not a head set. —Your fed up coworker

The owner of the HRM barber shop that got super lucky by jumping on a trend at the right time, does not. I repeat. Does not deserve your business. I've heard him shit talk his clients on more than one occasion. He thinks you're all moron hipsters and laughs about how much money he makes a year off you "losers." He makes a fool of himself online by sounding off like a child having a tantrum whenever anyone challenges him in any way. I hate seeing this psychopath succeed off the wallets of hard working haligonians. There are plenty of new barber shops popping up, owned by honest, trades people who believe in what they do. —One of the many who hates your guts

You and your business make millions yet you pay your employees so little! This province needs jobs that people will actually stick around for.... but good to see you enjoy your lifestyle. —Poor NS

I get it. Somewhere at some point in time, you won the argument about PD days. We are stuck with them even though I object to seeing you get a paid holiday to color and decorate the walls in your classroom. But really? 2 PD days in one week? Do you not realize how disruptive that is to parents trying to earn an income? —missing 2 days pay

Funny how most pedestrians blame the drivers for people getting hit in Cross walks. Honestly in the end it is the fault of the pedestrian. We should be smart enough to know being aware of what's going on around you well help keep you safe. We learned it as children before Crossing we look both ways, make eye contact and once all traffic has STOPPED For you then you can safely walk across. The real problem is most people are too self-involved and self entitled these days to think they should have to stand and wait the 30 seconds it may take for traffic to stop for them. So they just walk out thinking that right of way will protect them, guess what it doesn't. SURPRISE. You hear about people getting hit by busses and garbage trucks, how far up your own ass is your head when you don't see or hear something that big, slow and loud coming towards you. Wake up people please stop blaming your stupidity on the drivers. My 4 and 8 year old kids can cross a street safely, wanna know why ? Because they wait until traffic has STOPPED for them, pretty easy right ? Lets all try it FFS —Get your head out of your asses people

I got on the bus and once again there was that kind of person that takes 2 seats. No groceries, or anything, just wants the whole seat. I seem to be a particular kind of person, and young female. I guess all races have their brats and bitches. Next time, if I'm standing next to you, loaded with farts, I WILL let them rip!!! in your face!!! — Born civilized even if a little farty...

To the bus driver on Barrington st. Thursday morning... You know who you are. You know who I am and yes, I flipped you off. Don't look so shocked. Hell, I'd have done it twice if my other hand wasn't full. You saw me running to catch you. I saw you. If we looked at each other any longer, I'd have asked to buy you a beer. You were still at the curb when I got to your door, but that's when you decided to pull away. You gave me a shrug of a half-assed apology. I gave you the finger. So fuck you, bus driver. We could've been friends, you jerk. —Black-Gloved Finger Flipper

I am so disgusted with pretty much everybody's response to this recent tragedy in Paris. The ONLY appropriate sentiment or statement to make at this time is one of condolence and solidarity with the victims and their loved ones. I don't want to hear you spin this to push your political or personal narrative, WHETHER THAT FALLS ON THE LEFT OR THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE POLITICAL SPECTRUM. You think you're making a difference? Go join the army, run for office, research the issue and decide for yourself what you can do to help the situation. Before fucking blood had dried in Paris my feed was flooded with a few people spewing bigoted, anti-islamic, xenophobic fear or hatred. But I think it's just as bad to immediately start lamenting that this tragedy shouldn't be used as a reason to promote islamophobia or whatever your personal or political cause is. It's in extremely poor taste EITHER WAY. We should just offer our condolences and keep our fucking mouths shut. Let the political leaders do their jobs. As someone who has friends living in Paris and other parts of France, it saddens and sickens me to see the loss of life, the destruction of families, the senseless slaughter of innocent people IMMEDIATELY used as a talking point to further a political narrative or view—again—REGARDLESS of what that view might be. It's just not the time or the place. I think I'm done with social media. People fucking suck. —TJ902
